After the call with Brit, I moved towards my little study desk with my laptop to join the class for today. Shane had helped me to move my classes to online, being that I couldn't manage taking care of the baby and traveling to school.
Shane had also gotten me a new phone and had one of his Tech Guy to do something to my phone and laptop saying something about whoever is out to get me won't be able to track my devices when I use them.
Trying to push whatever is going on in my life right now to the back of my mind, I focused my attention on whatever the lecturer is saying.
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ I didn't know when I fell asleep at my desk, but when I woke up and looked towards the bed, Ryanna wasn't there. I rushed frantically out of the room in search of my baby. I came to a stop when I saw Shane's mom holding her. They were in the living room watching the television.
"I came to check on you guys, but you were asleep, and she was wide a wake, so I took her up," Shane's mom says, laughing.
"I'm sorry. I was so tired I didn't realize she was awake," I sighed.
"It's okay," She replied. "Are you done with classes for the day?" She asks.
"No, I have one more," I answered.
"Ok, I'll keep her. You can go ahead and finish your class," She offered.
I gave her a smile and headed back to my room. I was really grateful for her help because I really didn't know what I was doing. Everything still feels like it's out of my control. With a sigh, I texted Jinelle to send me the notes from last class because I fell asleep. She has been reaching out to me to ask me what's up due to me moving my classes online, but I only told her I'm dealing with a lot right now. She continued to be persistent in finding out what was going on, so I stopped answering. I only hope she responds to my text cause I'm not that close to my other classmates. By the time I was done with class, Shane came home. I quickly went to the shower so I could get started on dinner.
