The girls were playing France today in the euro qualifiers.

We had travelled up to Newcastle to play.

It had been quite a good performance from us.

Very early on in the match, Mary fell down injured so Hannah came on instead

Beth had scored in the 30' minute but it didn't last long because France equalised eleven minutes later.

A few minutes after Frances goal, it was half time so the girls made their way to the changing rooms.

Sarina gestured for me to come with so o made my way with them, less pulling me onto her lap.

It was late so the girls were fast asleep.

Me and less were just looking at them.

"I can't believe they're nearly one." Less whispers

"I know. They're growing up so fast."

"We're gonna have another one soon." Less says so quietly I barely heard her.

"I know."

Sarina then called the girls to all huddle round so I quickly said goodbye to everyone, going back to my seat with Lottie and Maisie.

The second half kicked off and France scored quite early on.

The game finished 2-1 to France, not really the scoreline we were hoping for but they'll get revenge next time.

And that's exactly what they did. They played France only four days later and won 2-1.

Lessi got player of the match which was so well deserved because she played incredibly well.
