As the two stood there, the sound of a whistle suddenly pierced the air. Aizawa-sensei, standing with his usual tired expression, called out to the class. "Alright, enough talking. We're here to assess your quirks, not your conversation skills. Get ready for the next test."

Niko glanced around, realizing she had lost track of time. The other students were already gathered, preparing for the next round of the quirk assessment. Bakugou was loudly boasting about how he'd blow everyone away with his next move, while Midoriya stood off to the side, nervously muttering to himself, no doubt analyzing every possible strategy.

"Guess we'll have to continue this later," Niko said, giving Tokoyami a small nod before walking over to join the rest of the class.

Tokoyami followed silently, his composure unshaken. Dark Shadow hovered close by, visibly excited for the next challenge. "Let's show them what we've got!" it whispered eagerly.

As Aizawa explained the next test, the students were lined up to demonstrate their quirks one by one. After the softball test, everyone was supposed to elaborate their quirks further. First up was Iida, who sprinted with blinding speed, leaving a trail of dust behind him. Next, Bakugou stepped forward, launching himself into the air with an explosion that echoed through the training grounds, grinning wildly as he landed.

"Ha! Try to top that, extras!" Bakugou sneered at the rest of the class.

Niko watched, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. She wasn't one to back down from a challenge, but with so many powerful quirks on display, the pressure was mounting.

When it was finally Tokoyami's turn, the air seemed to grow a little heavier. He stepped up confidently, Dark Shadow extending out from him, larger and more menacing than usual. His presence alone demanded attention.

"Dark Shadow, full power," Tokoyami muttered, his eyes narrowing in focus.

Dark Shadow roared to life, its form growing even more massive as it shot forward, completing the challenge with precision and raw strength. The other students couldn't help but stare, a few of them exchanging impressed glances.

"Impressive," Todoroki muttered under his breath, his usually cool demeanor betraying a hint of interest.

Midoriya, always analytical, was scribbling notes furiously in his notebook. "Tokoyami's control over Dark Shadow is improving. It's fascinating how the strength of his quirk increases depending on the light conditions..."

Tokoyami stepped back, his usual calm restored as Dark Shadow receded. He met Niko's gaze from across the field, his expression unreadable, but there was something in the way he held himself-like a silent acknowledgment of their earlier conversation.

Before Niko could dwell on it, Aizawa called out her name.

"It's your turn, Sakura."

Taking a deep breath, Niko stepped forward, her heart pounding in her chest. She could feel the eyes of her classmates on her, the weight of their expectations pressing down on her shoulders. She glanced at Tokoyami one last time, drawing strength from their earlier exchange.

"Let's show them what makes us unique," she whispered to herself before activating her quirk, the world around her seeming to slow for just a moment as she prepared to make her move.

As Niko stepped into the assessment area, she felt the anticipation in the air, her classmates watching intently. She took a deep breath, focusing on her surroundings, the faint hum of energy tingling at her fingertips as she activated her quirk.

"Telekinesis, wrath of the unseen!" she declared, her voice steady as she raised her hands slightly. Almost immediately, objects around her began to lift and swirl in the air, a few small stones, pieces of debris, and even a couple of training dummies floated gracefully around her, defying gravity.

Her classmates gasped in awe. "Whoa, that's amazing!" Kirishima exclaimed, his eyes wide.

Niko smiled, feeling the rush of her quirk take over. With a flick of her wrist, she sent a nearby training dummy flying across the field with surprising force, causing it to crash against a wall. The sound echoed, and the other students cheered, clearly impressed by her control and power.

"Nice throw!" Kaminari shouted, giving her a thumbs-up.

Encouraged, Niko decided to push her limits. She raised both hands, and the surrounding objects began to swirl around her like a cyclone, forming a protective barrier of debris. It wasn't just about strength; it was about precision and control, two aspects of her quirk she had worked hard to master.

Meanwhile, Tokoyami watched with a mix of admiration and curiosity. Dark Shadow leaned closer, whispering, "She's strong! Look at her go!"

As Niko continued to demonstrate her abilities, she felt a surge of confidence. She concentrated, directing the swirling objects with finesse, creating a mesmerizing display of her quirk. The energy crackled in the air around her, and she could feel the attention of everyone present.

Then, just as she was about to conclude her demonstration, a sudden gust of wind disrupted her concentration. Niko stumbled slightly, losing focus, and the objects around her began to scatter.

"Stay calm!" she reminded herself, quickly regaining her balance. Drawing on her training, she focused hard and brought the objects back under control, her brow furrowing in concentration.

"Come on, Niko!" Bakugou shouted from the sidelines, a mix of encouragement and challenge in his voice. "Don't let some wind take you down!"

Niko grinned at the challenge in his tone, feeling the rush of adrenaline. With renewed determination, she re-centered her focus, pulling the objects back together and creating a swirling vortex that glowed with energy.

"Alright, here goes!" she exclaimed, thrusting her hands forward. The debris shot outward like a barrage of projectiles, striking the target dummies with precision, each hit echoing like a small explosion.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, and Niko couldn't help but beam with pride as she finished her display. She glanced at Tokoyami, who stood off to the side, his expression unreadable but his eyes reflecting a hint of respect.

As she returned to the group, Niko felt a rush of exhilaration. "How was that?" she asked, looking around at her classmates.

"You killed it!" Kirishima grinned, clapping her on the back. "You've got some serious talent!"

"Not bad at all," Tokoyami said quietly, stepping closer. "Your control over your quirk is impressive. You truly are unique."

Niko felt her cheeks warm at the compliment, a sense of camaraderie building between them amidst the excitement of the assessment.
