Night had fallen over the training camp, and though exhaustion lingered in the air, the students of Class 1-A had pushed through another day of intense training. The Wild, Wild Pussycats were pleased with their progress, and everyone looked forward to a well-deserved rest.
That is, until the forest erupted in flames.
"Fire! Everyone, look!" Yaoyorozu cried out, pointing toward the forest, her face filled with alarm. A blaze of unnatural blue fire was sweeping through the trees, rapidly eating up the vegetation and casting a terrifying glow across the campgrounds.
"The League of Villains is here!" Aizawa's voice boomed through the clearing. "Everyone, get to safety! This is no drill!"
A wave of panic swept through the group, but the students quickly remembered their training, gathering into smaller groups under Aizawa's sharp command. Each second counted as the flames spread, and they knew they couldn't afford to lose focus.
Before they could process the full extent of the threat, a villainous figure stepped forward through the inferno-a tall man with dark hair, cold blue eyes, and skin stapled to his body. His expression was calm but cruel, and he surveyed the chaos with a twisted amusement.
Dabi.
His hand raised, and with it came another wave of his infamous blue fire, spreading like a ravenous beast across the forest.
Niko's eyes widened at the sight, her mind racing as she tried to process what was happening. This was no ordinary fire-Dabi's flames burned hotter, deadlier than anything she had ever seen. The panic building inside her clashed with her instincts as a hero-in-training.
"We're in serious danger," Tokoyami muttered under his breath, standing beside her, his eyes locked on the growing firestorm. "We have to stay together."
Suddenly, a sharp movement in the distance caught their attention. Midoriya, wide-eyed and desperate, sprinted off toward the mountain path. Without hesitation, he raced into the forest, pushing past the flames.
"Where is he going?" Niko asked, confusion coloring her voice.
"He's going to save Kota," Uraraka explained, her voice tight with worry. "He heard something about Kota being in danger earlier. He must be going after him!"
Before anyone could respond, more villains appeared. Spinner, wielding a large, curved blade, and Magne, with her magnetic powers, charged toward the Pussycats. Mandalay and Tiger leaped into action, attempting to fend them off. The ground trembled as Spinner's blade tore through the trees, while Mandalay sent out a desperate telepathic warning to the students.
"Stay alert! Protect yourselves!" Mandalay's voice echoed in Niko's mind, urging the class to remain calm and stick to their training.
Around them, their classmates split off into different directions. Todoroki, Shoji, and Bakugo rushed deeper into the forest, ready to face Moonfish, the villain with the deadly blade-like teeth. His presence was even more terrifying in the midst of the chaos, and Niko could only hope they would be able to handle him.
Tokoyami turned to Niko, his face serious. "We need to move. We can't stay here. The flames will reach us soon."
Niko nodded, her heart pounding as she grabbed his arm and pulled him in the opposite direction of the blaze. Together, they ran deeper into the forest, the sound of fire crackling behind them, accompanied by shouts and the clash of Quirks from their classmates.
They ducked under branches and weaved through trees, the heat from the fire growing hotter as they ventured farther from the camp. Finally, they came to a halt near a dense thicket, taking cover behind a cluster of thick bushes.
Panting, Niko looked around them, trying to assess their surroundings. Her heart was still racing, her pulse loud in her ears, but the immediate danger seemed to have passed. For now.
"We're safe here for a moment," Tokoyami said quietly, his voice steady despite the chaos around them. Dark Shadow hovered near, ready to strike at the first sign of danger. "But we need to be careful."
Niko nodded, leaning back against a tree as she caught her breath. Her eyes flicked upward, catching a faint glow through the trees ahead of them. The fire was still spreading, but something else seemed off about the light.
That's when she saw them.
Dabi and Twice, standing just a few meters away in a small clearing. Niko's breath caught in her throat as she ducked lower, pulling Tokoyami down beside her.
"They're here," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Dabi and Twice."
Tokoyami tensed, his eyes narrowing as he peeked through the leaves. Dabi's fire was still burning bright, but he seemed calm, his arms crossed over his chest as Twice babbled on beside him, muttering something about the mission and the chaos they were causing.
"We can't fight them head-on," Tokoyami said, his voice low. "Not right now. We need to wait for an opening."
Niko nodded, her mind racing as she tried to think of a plan. She knew they had to act carefully, but the threat of Dabi's flames and Twice's unpredictability made her stomach twist with anxiety.
Suddenly, Dabi's head tilted slightly, as if he had sensed something in the air. His eyes scanned the forest with a calculating look, and Niko's heart skipped a beat as his gaze passed over their hiding spot.
She held her breath, praying they wouldn't be noticed. The tension in the air was palpable, the flames crackling in the background, the danger all too real.
