Aphmau's POV
By the time our girls' day came to an end, we were all laughing, arms loaded with shopping bags and stomachs full of sweet treats.
"Okay," I said, turning to face the group, "next time, it's going to be a couples' day. No backing out."
Lucinda raised an eyebrow. "You sure you can handle all of us and Aaron?"
I winked. "Please. I'm the queen of multitasking."
As the girls laughed, I felt that familiar sense of contentment settle over me. This—our friendships, our laughter, our love—it was everything. And no matter what happened next, I knew we'd face it together.
