Taehyung was irritated, pacing his room as yet another day passed without Jimin showing up. His mind raced, frustration building.
What was going on?
Why hadn't Jimin come over?
He couldn't shake the strange feeling he had, the one that had crept in ever since that day when Jimin appeared looking so... different.
Taehyung couldn't stop thinking about him, and it was driving him mad.
Finally, his annoyance got the better of him, and he decided to confront Jungkook. Maybe he knew something. He needed answers, and the only person he could think of asking was his brother, Jungkook. Jimin's best friend.
As he approached Jungkook's room, he noticed the door slightly ajar. "Guess he's in the shower," Taehyung thought, but instead of waiting, he casually pushed the door open and stepped inside.
The room was quiet except for the faint sound of water running from the bathroom. Taehyung's eyes wandered lazily around the space until something on the desk caught his attention-a notebook lying open. Without much thought, he picked it up, flipping through the pages. At first, it seemed like random sketches, but then something familiar made him pause,
Taehyung's breath hitched as he flipped through more pages, Page after page was filled with intricate sketches of... Jin.
Each one captured different moments, different emotions. Jin laughing, Jin deep in thought, Jin staring off into the distance. The detail in the drawings was incredible, and for a moment, Taehyung was stunned by the artistry.
Every sketches were beautifully detailed and capturing every expression and nuance of his face. Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he scanned the drawings. Some were simple, others more intricate, but all of them seemed to be drawn with a strange intensity, an obsession that sent a chill down his spine.
But then, as he flipped through the pages, something else caught his attention. On each page, next to the drawings, were small, neatly written notes. He began to read, and his heart dropped.
The first page was from years ago, when Jin had first come to their house. Jungkook had drawn a portrait of Jin smiling, his features soft and gentle. Next to the sketch, Jungkook had written:
The most beautiful person in the world... the day I first saw him, I knew he was everything I'd ever want.
I love how he hugged me, he smelled so good. I really love his presence. I love it when his attention stays on me.
Today, Jin hyung smiled at me when I brought him tea. It was the warmest smile I've ever seen, and it felt like the sun had finally come out just for me.
Today, was the result day, I got highest score. Thanks to Jin hyung, he was proud of me. He even gifted me chocolates and this diary where I am writing. He made it and decorated it by himself. It's my precious treasure.
Taehyung frowned, flipping to the next page. The drawings continued-each more intricate than the last. But the notes... the notes began to take a darker turn.
He needs to be mine.
Taehyung's stomach twisted as he kept reading. The further he went, the more the sketches reflected Jungkook's inner turmoil. There was one drawing of Jin, standing beside Taehyung, but the way Jungkook had drawn it... Jin was fading, his figure blurry and incomplete.
Next to the sketch, Jungkook had written:
The day they became a couple... it felt like he was slipping away from me. Like I was losing him, piece by piece.
