Taehyung stood there, his mind still processing everything he had just discovered. His gaze flickered from the drawer where Jungkook had locked away the notebook to the door where Jungkook had just exited. His little brother had hidden so much, but instead of anger, all Taehyung felt was... relief? No, something more like excitement.

"What are you going to do now?" Taehyung asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook paused in the doorway, his back still turned to Taehyung. He didn’t need to turn around to know the turmoil in his brother’s eyes. "You don’t need to worry about that, hyung," Jungkook said softly, his tone surprisingly gentle. Then, as if reading Taehyung’s unspoken thoughts, he continued, "And as for why you came in here…"

Jungkook’s eyes briefly flicked to the drawer that held the notebook. Without a word, he moved over to it, swiftly locking it away. His movements were calm, almost too calm. "Jimin is in his hometown," he said, his tone lighter now. "He went to visit our grandmother. Don’t worry—he’ll be back tomorrow."

At the mention of Jimin, something inside Taehyung shifted. His earlier confusion began to ebb away, replaced by something warmer, something more familiar. Jimin would be back tomorrow. The thought sent a sudden rush of excitement through him, like a spark catching fire.

Jungkook gave Taehyung a small smile, walking over to him and patting his shoulder as if reassuring him. "He’ll be back soon, hyung. You’ll see him tomorrow."

With that, Jungkook left the room, closing the door quietly behind him. But Taehyung barely registered it. His mind was already elsewhere, filled with thoughts of Jimin. The emptiness that had been gnawing at him moments ago seemed to vanish, replaced by the anticipation of seeing Jimin again.

"Jimin..." he murmured to himself, the name echoing softly in the room.

Taehyung’s heart raced as the realization settled in. His confusion about Jin, his numbness toward the situation with Jungkook—all of it faded away the moment Jimin’s name was mentioned. All he could think about now was seeing Jimin again. That soft smile, those teasing words... the warmth Jimin brought into his life.

Taehyung smiled to himself, excitement bubbling up inside him as he stood there. Tomorrow couldn’t come fast enough.

Jungkook walked through the hallways with an easy confidence, his footsteps light but purposeful. His mind was sharp, already anticipating how this next encounter would play out. Teasing Jin had become something of a game for him, but this time... he felt ready to push things just a bit further. Maybe today he’d check his luck, see how far he could go before Jin pushed him away.

Reaching the door to Jin’s room, Jungkook knocked lightly before pushing it open without waiting for an answer. As expected, Jin was there, sitting by the window, seemingly lost in thought. His expression was distant, and Jungkook could sense the tension in his posture even before saying a word.

"Hyung," Jungkook called out with that smooth, deep voice that always seemed to unsettle Jin. The way Jin’s body stiffened at the sound made Jungkook smirk slightly as he stepped inside. "What are you thinking about? Don’t tell me you’ve been missing me."

Jin snapped out of his thoughts, eyes flicking toward Jungkook. "W-What are you doing here?" he stammered, clearly caught off guard.

Jungkook closed the door behind him, leaning casually against it. "Just came to check on you, hyung. You’ve been acting... distracted lately." His gaze swept over Jin, watching how the older man shifted uncomfortably. There was something different about tonight, something more intense in the air between them.
