Megatron felt a jolt of pain in his spark chamber as G.H.O.S.T hauled his once loyal scientist or rather, friend away to their HQ. But the moment they were out of earshot and eyesight, he turned on his heel, walking back into the memorial, ready to tear the place from the ground up trying to find the missing woman. The children had been looking under any rock, and in any tree, searching and searching with nothing to show for it. It wasn't until the morning light had shone from the horizon in the perfect angle, did he see something glimmer from beneath his own statue.

He rushed to it, kneeling down, and picking up the crumpled remains of her phone. A breathless "No." left his intake as he studied the broken device, holding it gently as small pieces of glass and metal fell to the ground. It was pierced through by something sharp, not dropped on with a rock or stepped on by an attacker. A surge in his energon haul, from anxiety, made him almost fall down. He commed Optimus the moment a thought struck his processor.

"Optimus, I think I know who took her." His voice sounded strained and on edge.

"Wait. Before you say anything, we were able to pull up the security footage from last night. I'm sending it to you right now." Optimus's voice was solemn. Megatron played it immediately, fast forwarding to watch where she had, at one point, stood with the three that were frozen in place. Movement in the corner of the video caught his optics and It wasn't long before he saw the culprit himself order his spider abomination to attack her. Whipping her across the courtyard. The view changed and the camera was now pointed at his statue, he watched as she crashed into the bottom block of cement. There was a moment where the two talked but that was overshadowed by Megatron cringing in anger as he watched the spiderbot jump her, inject something in her arm and haul her off, following Dr. Meridian.

It happened all in the matter of a few minutes, it was too fast, too scripted. It was premeditated. It dawned on Megatron that they had been stocked, followed, and that "Mandroid" was waiting for the right moment to grab her.

"It was who I suspected. We need to find her; They could be anywhere by now." His voice was desperate. The children gathered around him, listening to his conversation.

"Who...took her?" Hashtags voice squeaked.

"Mandroid!" Thrash called out. "It has to be! We would have noticed if it was anyone else." The young bot sounded angry as the others put two and two together.

"It would make sense, if he took her, maybe he wants to use her as bait?" Twitch flew up to Megatron's hands where her phone sat. A determination set into Megatron's spark chamber. He was going to get her back, no matter the cost.

"Isn't he supposed to be dead?" Nightshade asked, their head tilted up towards the camera where the whole incident had been captured. Megatron did not want to show the children what had happened, and he hoped they wouldn't ask, even as he saw worry and curiosity swirl in Nightshades faceplate.

"Supposed to be? Yes, but like most other forms of cockroaches, we should have not assumed he was gone for good." Megatron thought for a second, tossing over any rock in his mind for anything he missed, any sign of trouble he overlooked, but nothing came up. It was almost like Meridian had appeared out of nowhere.

"Mr. Megatron, we'll find her." He looked down to meet Mo's stare. "Right?" Her voice cracked and if he hadn't had thousands of years to teach himself to keep his emotions in check, he would have broken down right then. But he needed to be the strong one.

"Yes. We will find her." A small minuscule part of him hoped that if the mad doctor got her home, she would be happy, but the selfish beast that clawed its way into his mind didn't want to let her go yet, if ever. He gently held Mo's hand transferring the broken phone into her much smaller palm.
