"To the left!" You let out a grunt as you tried your best to heave the heaviest couch you had ever lifted slightly to the left at the call of your used to be good friend, Dorothy. At the moment she was more of your nemesis. She was the one who showed you this beautiful brute of furniture. It was the second time being involved with her led you to a gorgeous beast of a thing. You did however think the couch would be a better conversationalist then the robot.

'What is even the point of giant alien robots if you still have to move your furniture on your own.' You thought while trying to focus on your knees not giving out. With one more push the couch was finally through your doorway. You dramatically sprawled out onto the comfy cushions and let out a long groan. Dorothy stood with her hands on her hips, breathing heavy. You swore you heard her mutter something about "Still having it." You slowly sat up and looked at the boxes piled up by the kitchen island.

Before you could say anything to your moving companion you heard her phone ring. You glanced over and saw the contact name. It was him. And if Megatron was calling it must mean there was a Decepticon nearby. It was the first time you saw disappointment on Dorothy's face when it came to the gray mech. Usually, she would jump for joy at his name or photo popping up as "Caller Incoming" since it meant she would have something exciting to do, but right now she looked apprehensive about answering.

"Hey Megs, what's up?" You moved closer to eavesdrop...unintentionally. You watched Dorothy's head nod as she had her hushed conversation with Megatron. You could hear him say something about "Him being in the area." And how he was "going to be around the house to be a look out." That caught your attention as you met the womans gaze. You saw the faintest smile creep up on her face and a figurative lightbulb pop on over her head. Good thing you had just moved to town and wouldn't be at the Malto's residence as much.

"Well Megs, If Starscream's in the area I think there's someone who needs protection more than us." She gave you a side eye and continued.

"Yeah, he gets along with Hashtag so I doubt he would try to attack us, but with our new recruit moving to town...She could be a big target." Your jaw dropped at Dorothy's exaggerated facial expressions.

"Whoever that is doesn't even know who I am!" you tried to whisper yell to the woman. She crossed her arms and turned as a way to ignore what you just said.

"Oh of course! I know she would feel much safer with someone around Megs. Let me know when you're at the house." She said a quick goodbye before ending the call and turning to you. She acted like you hadn't heard anything.

"Oh Hun, there's a very dangerous Decepticon on the loose and you might be in danger. Don't worry Megs is going to come and keep you company for the time being." You didn't know who was standing in front of you at the moment. Where had the soft and sweet mom away from mom gone? You stared at her blankly, trying to come up with an excuse.

"Why can't Bumblebee-?" You started but she cut you off.

"He's in hiding. Remember? And Optimus is busy with a mission in North Carolina." You felt your heart start to pound as your face started to get warm.

"You traitor!" You said dramatically as you pretended to be shot, falling on the ground.

"Come on sweety. You said you wanted to get to know him better, this is the perfect opportunity." She didn't even try to hide her grin.

"Okay, first of all I told you and Alex that in confidence, second of all I am choosing right now that I lied!" You covered your face with your arm and huffed. "He doesn't even like me, I'll give it a day before he wants to step on me." You peeked out to see that Dorothy's face hadn't changed.
