As the gang was trick-or-treating and getting scores of full-sized candy bars, they were having a lot of fun and laughed as they enjoyed their night so far.
"Man, I missed this." April said. "I can't remember the last time I actually had a fun Halloween night out."
"Yeah, our last Halloween was filled with monsters." Casey said. "It was so metal!"
Everyone just looked at Casey with a look that said 'Are you for real?'.
"I mean. . . I *did* get turned into a vampire, so I missed out on a lot." Casey said. "But it was still a creepy cool time!"
"Yeah, cause FOMO was the biggest issue then." Donnie said as he rolled his eyes.
"Oh, that reminds me." Casey said. "Jake, are you able to mind control others with your vampire-like abilities?"
"Casey, that's inappropriate." April said, defensively.
"No, that's actually a valid question." Jake said. "I've. . . never actually tried before. Not that I've ever been thinking about it, of course."
"Ooh, what about biting someone's neck?" Raph asked. "Have you ever thought about if you could turn others into vampires, too?"
"Raph!" April said, starting to get annoyed.
"I'm sure I could." Jake said. "Bit I wouldn't ever do that, unless it was a dire circumstance."
"So, you'd turn another person if their life depended on it?" Makayla asked.
"I don't even know how much vampire I even am." Jake said. "Who knows how far the spectrum goes for my powers."
"Didn't you say you were half-vampire?" Mikey asked.
"Even then, I don't know how much of that half is actual traditional vampire." Jake said. "It's complicated, okay."
"Well, I didn't think vampires had freakish lightning abilities." Donnie said. "Unless that's a new development for this particular canon?"
"Can we stop talking about Jake's hybrid?" April asked, getting defensive if she boyfriend. "Can't you tell he's still partially insecure about it?"
"Yeah, chill out a bit." Makayla said. "He'll talk about it when he's better at his own understanding."
"Sorry." Mikey said. "Though, I wonder if he's related to Dracula."
"Mikey!" Everyone suddenly yelled at once, causing Mikey to flinch in surprise.
"Yo, dude! Have you heard?" A teenage boy suddenly said. "That creepy house at the end of the street has a wicked stash!"
"The one at the end?" Another teenage boy asked. "You mean the one that's haunted? No one ever goes there."
"It's not haunted." The first teenage boy scoffed. "Those are just silly fairy-tales to get people to stay away from their stash. The owners are filthy rich, you know?"
"Well, I'm not going over there." The second teenage boy said. "I'm not gonna risk it."
"Okay, pussy." The other teenage boy said as the two of them just walked passed the group.
The group then turned their attention to the house at the end of the street. It was a large mansion with a gate surrounding the entirety of the area. And it looked dark and broken down.
"Is that the mansion they were talking about?" Mars asked.
"It's looks spooky." Elexa said. "But I wouldn't quite say haunted."
"I bet it's because the owners must be really old that they look dead." Raph said with a smirk. "That's why it's haunted."
"That's not funny, Raph." Gracie said.
