Martha and Mark took their stances as they were about to fight each other in both Mikey's and April's bodies. Everyone took a step back as they watched as the fight commenced.

"Alright, an all-out spirit battle!" Mars said, sounding excited. "I wonder who's gonna come out on top."

"I mean. . . we want Martha to win, right?" Donnie asked.

"We are trying to stop the madman." Callie said. "It would be best to stick to the side we're on."

"I'm not obligated to care." Gracie said. "I'm just a side character."

"Kick his ass, Martha!" Elexa shouted with a smirk on her face. "Show him who's the real boss around here!"

"They're rooting for you, Martha." Mark said with a smirk. "You better not disappoint."

"I don't plan to." Martha said with a smirk. "After all, I've got five years worth of taekwondo skills under my name."

"Make them count." Mark said with a smirk.

With that said, the two spirits went at it and began to fight each other. While Martha had insane martial arts skills, Mark had incredible agility. It was clear that they were evenly matched.

"This battle is never going to end, is it?" Makayla said. "They're both evenly matched in terms of skill."

"Yeah, but Mark isn't throwing any punches." Donnie said. "I wonder if he just doesn't want to hurt his wife, otherwise there'd be more swinging."

"Boring!" Raph said.

"Then, should we help them?" Jake asked.

"Well, Mark wasn't exactly throwing punches for us, either." Leo said. "He was fighting back, but it was still mostly dodging."

"And yet, he wasn't overwhelmed by that." Jake said. "And he still has the mojo to fight his own wife. Well. . . as much as he can, anyway."

"I initially had the idea that we should overwhelm him and join the battle, but thanks for brining that up." Donnie said. "This guy just doesn't know when he's lost, I suppose."

Suddenly, Douxie's eyes lit up as he perked his head up. "That's it!" He said. "I know how we can hear this guy."

"How?" Makayla asked.

"If he can't be overwhelmed, then we just have to make him realize that he's lost." Douxie said.

"And how do we do that, genius?" Jake asked.

"Marcy!" Makayla suddenly said. "We need Marcy!"

"Who?" Donnie asked.

"Their daughter." Makayla said. "If we can convince her to fight against her own father, that *has* to show him how far he's gone. Then, he'll have to submit and accept defeat!"

"She's got to be in the basement still." Jake said.

"I'll go see if she is." Makayla said. "Tell me what I miss."

With that said, Makayla rushed out of the lab, which the door was still opened (a poor move on Mark's part), ans headed back down to the basement.

. . . .

Back in the basement, Marcy was "sitting" on the floor, against a wall, with her knees up and her face was welled up with tears. She wasn't having the best time at the moment.

Makayla then appeared as the door opened and she saw Marcy on the floor. "There you are, Marcy." She said as she ran up to her and knelt down beside her. "What's wrong?"
