It was on. The possessed Mikey being controlled by Mark Stone had taken out the nunchucks and got into a battle stance. The others were also in their battle stances.
"So, we're really doing this now?" Mars said, still in shock by what was happening. "I can't just hurt Mikey."
"Well, we don't really have a choice." Jake said. "Unless we can reason with the spirit or something."
"I don't think that's gonna work." April said.
"Why are you guys just talking?" Mark said, taunting them. "I'm ready to take back what I deserve!"
"We're gonna have to do it then." Jake said. "Otherwise, the whole world will be doomed."
"Yeah, let's go!" Mark said.
At that moment, everyone charged at the sport possessing Mikey's body. But they're attacks were pointless as Mark kept dodging and throwing them around. And they weren't getting anywhere with the fight.
"Man, I thought you guys were supposed to be well-trained." Mark said, sounding disappointed.
April then stood up as she focused her energy on Mark and tried to use her psychic powers to possibly do something to him.
"Ah, what's this?" Mark said, looking over at April. "Another failed attempt?"
Mark then swung Mikey's kusarigama chain at April, which she barely managed to dodge, as the blade cut a tear through her costume and and left a cut on her arm. April cried in pain as she held her arm as it continued to bleed.
"Pathetic mortals." Mark said. "You're really too afraid to stand against your friend? How do you expect to be at me otherwise?"
"You guys are holding back!" Jake said. "This isn't gonna work, unless we hit him directly."
"How about you try doing this in an alternate chapter where Makayla gets possessed instead, you insensitive jerk!" Donnie said, angrily.
"Fighting amongst ourselves isn't gonna get us anywhere, either." Callie said. "He's right, Donnie. We have to actually fight him if we're gonna win. Well. . . you guys have to. I don't really have much experience."
"Neither do I." Elexa said. "I'm just a fragile zombie girl!"
"And I don't want to risk getting my shell tossed by this freak." Gracie said. "That's a koopa's only weakness."
"Then, looks like we'll have to play protector as well then." Douxie said, as he summoned his staff and aimed it at Mark. "TENEBRIS EXILIUM!"
As he said that, a large blast of magic shot out and hit Mark, sending him flying through a wall.
"Ok, that's better." Mark said. "But it's still not enough to take me down!"
Jake then stood up and fired a bolt of lightning towards Mark, which he quickly dodged, using Mikey's agility.
"I picked the right body to possess, didn't I?" Mark said.
April then raised her hand up as she made a few things float in the air as she suddenly sent them flying Mark's way. Mark continued to leap out of the way, dodging the flying science tools.
"Hey, those are for my experiments!" Mark said, angrily. "You can't just break my stuff like that!"
"If you're using it to take over the world, then it has to be destroyed!" Mars said as she shot a fireball at Mark, which he quickly dodged.
"Wait a second. . . how are you using your powers anyway?" Mark asked, suddenly surprised by this outcome. "I thought I had put up a protective barrier to keep magic out!"
"Because you needed to be put in your place." A voice said, causing Mark to gasp in shock and fear.
At that moment, the ghost of Martha had appeared inside of the lab. And she did look too happy.
"Honey! I was wondering when you'd show up." Mark said. "You're just in time to see my plan come to fruition."
"No, I'm here to see you get your ass kicked." Martha said, seriously. "That's why I took down the casted barrier."
"What? You have no authority over that!" Mark said, angrily.
"Then, you should've made the password harder to guess." Martha said. "Seriously? Who uses their birthday as their password? That's an idiotic thing to do."
"Huh. . . guess I should change my password then." Gracie said.
"You ungrateful bitch!" Mark said, angrily. "I'm doing this for us, you know?"
"I don't need you to do anything." Martha said, as tears welled up in her eyes. "I never needed you! You had us trapped here, in this broken house, for too long! And now, I'm gonna make sure you get way you deserve!"
As she said that, Martha suddenly went inside disappeared into thin air.
"Where did she go?" Jake asked.
"I'm right over here." Martha's voice spoke out.
Everyone the turned to where her voice was coming from. But it wasn't from Martha herself. Her voice. . . had come from a different body.
"April?" Jake said in confusion.
Suddenly, 'April' lifted up her head to reveal her eyes had gone blank white as well.
"I'll fight you myself, my love." Martha's voice said, coming out of April's mouth. "Because you need to learn a very important lesson! And I'll die again before you get what you want!"
"Very well." Mark said with a smirk. "This'll be fun."
