Everyone was shocked when they saw what had happened with Mikey. He had appeared to have been possessed by an angry spirit that goes by the name of Mark Stone.
"Let my brother go, you ghost jerk!" Donnie said, angrily, as he took out his bo staff.
"I don't think this spirit is going to listen." Douxie said.
"Yeah, he doesn't seem friendly." Gracie said. "He might even be a vengeful spirit."
"Vengeful? No." Mark said. "I'm just not a fan of visitors, that's all."
"Huh?" Elexa said in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I mean that I don't like people in my house!" Mark said, angrily. "And you bastards really had to go ahead and break in! If I were alive, the cops would've been called here hours ago!"
"Look, we can explain." Elexa said. "We just came here for some candy. We weren't expected this place to actually be haunted."
"Didn't you hear the stories?" Mark asked.
"Like we were gonna believe a bunch of nonsense." Donnie said. "But standing here now. . . it definitely wasn't just a rumor."
"Idiots. . ." Mark sighed.
"Look, just give us back our friends and we'll go ahead and leave you be." Gracie said. "We promise."
"Y-Yeah. . . I didn't want to come here anyway." Callie said. "So, go ahead and open the door for us. We'll be gone in a flicker of a light."
"Hmm. . . now I could just do that." Mark said, pacing around. "But I think it'd be better to teach you all a lesson first!"
Mark then reached into the pocket of Mikey's belt and pulled out his nunchucks. "And I'll use your friends body to do it!" He said, swinging the nunchucks around.
"Is this the part where we run?" Gracie asked.
. . . . .
Back in the basement, Marcy suddenly cried out in pain as she clutched her head.
"Marcy, what's wrong?" April asked.
"My father. . . he's here." Marcy said. "He's got one of your friends."
"Wait, what do you mean 'got'?" Leo asked.
"He always does this!" Marcy said. "Whenever someone crosses into our property, he takes control of their bodies and makes them fight off the rest. It ended it many hospital trips and possibly even some unneeded medication for those poor teens he terrorized."
"We need to find the others now." Leo said.
"But we're still trapped down here." Jake said. "The door still won't open."
"Oh, we're cooked." Makayla said.
"Wait, there's a secret down here." Marcy said. "Follow me."
Everyone then followed the floating ghost girl as she held them to. . . a wall.
"This is just a wall." Raph said.
"There's a secret door here, leading upstairs." Marcy said. "It also leads to my father's lab. Did I mention he was a scientist?"
"No time for that." Jake said. "Where's the secret door at?"
"It's around here somewhere." Marcy said. "Oh there!"
Marcy then pointed to a a painting on the wall. "Move that painting." She said.
April looked over to where Marcy was pointing. "This one?" She asked as she grabbed the painting and tried to pull it off the wall. "It's not budging."
"Oh, try twisting it." Marcy said.
April twisted the painting to the side as a creaming sound was suddenly heard as the wall opened up in front of them, revealing a passageway.
"Amazing." Mars said as she looked at the passageway in awe. "I didn't expect this house to have secrets like that."
"My father built this himself when he and mother first moved in together." Marcy said. "Well, that's what I've heard, at least. I've never been down there myself. Even after death."
"And you still shouldn't." A calm, yet stern voice said from behind them.
When they turned around, a ghostly figure if a middle aged woman appeared. She had long flowing hair and was wearing a flowing dress and flats. Her name is Martha Stone.
"Mother?!" Marcy spoke out in shock.
"Who are these people you're playing with?" Martha asked. "And why are you going into your father's lab? You know you shouldn't be down there even now."
"But mother. . . father has these guys' friends in a fight!" Marcy said. "We're going to save them!"
"He also has to be the one who caused two of our other friends to go missing as well." Jake said. "We need to find them and escape."
"I'll talk to my husband and get you out of here." Martha said. "And as for your mising friends. . . I'm afraid they may not even be living anymore."
"Mother, please!" Marcy pleaded as her eyes welled up with tears. "You're always saying to do the right thing! And you were always wishing to help others as well. Why not finally do that and help these guys?"
"Please, Mrs. Stone." Jake said. "We have to find them and save them. And after that, we will get out of your hair for good. And you can continue to. . . roam around this mansion."
Martha sighed. "Very well, then." She said. "You guys can go down there and save your friends. But Marcy has to stay up here with me."
"Awww, mother!" Marcy said, disappointed.
"Don't worry, we'll be quick." Leo said, before turning back to his team. "Let's go save our friends!"
With that said, everyone went into the secret passageway, which had closed behind them.
"Mother, do you think they'll be okay?" Marcy asked.
"You've asked this a lot of times, sweetie." Martha said. "And the answer has always been the same."
Marcy just sighed as she prayed that her new friends would be okay down in her father's lab.
