Imaan Chauki – Morning
(Hanuman sits comfortably in Chandramukhi's chair, legs propped up on the desk, chewing pan)
(Chandramukhi enters)
Hanuman: (Grinning at Chandramukhi) Good Marning (Morning) Miss Chautala.
Chandramukhi: Ke baat hai, Makkhan Singh! Na aajkal tu kaam ko lekar Ghana serious ho gaya hai! Chauki par bhi jaldi aa jaave! Ke ho ke gaya hai tanne?
Hanuman: (Relaxed in her chair) Woh kya hai na, Miss Chautala, kisiko impress karne ke liye mein thoda smart work kar leta hoon!
Chandramukhi: (Walking closer, a teasing glint in her eyes) Kisne impress karna chahta hai tu?
Hanuman: (Leaning forward in the chair, his smirk widening) Aapko!
Chandramukhi: (after a pause, emotional) Sach Makkhan Singh! Tu manne impress karne ke liye yo sab...
(Hanuman suddenly gets up from her chair, closing the gap between them, his eyes sparkling with mischief.)
Hanuman: (Standing confidently in front of her) Aapke liye toh crime scene pe bhi rose petals bicha doon, Miss Chautala!
(He gently tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers brushing her cheek, standing close together)
(Chandramukhi's breath catches as Hanuman leans in, his face inches from hers. Just as he seems ready to kiss her on the lips, he surprises her by leaning in and planting a soft kiss on her cheek instead)
Chandramukhi's voice : Ke ho ke raha hai yo sab?
Hanuman: (Eyes flying open in horror, realizing he was kissing Gulgule) AAA... AAAAA!
(He leaps back in shock, flailing his arms, and climbs onto the desk. Frantically wiping his lips with the back of his hand, his face twists in disgust)
(Gulgule, still taken aback, dramatically pulls out a handkerchief from his pocket and wipes his cheek, looking utterly flabbergasted)
GG: (To Chandramukhi) Dekha madam, dekha aapne? Ab toh khule aam iss chauki mein meri izzat loonti jaa rahi hai.
Hanuman: (Still on the table) Kya bakwas kar rahe ho, Gulgule? Mujhe toh laga ki Miss Chautala hai.(He sticks out his tongue, realizing his blunder)
(Chandramukhi raises an eyebrow, a hint of a smirk tugging at her mouth.)
Chandramukhi: Yo thaana hai, Makkhan Singh! Circus na hai aur tu yaha ka chief Inspector ho raha, koi Joker na.
(Hanuman understands her signal and hops down from the table.)
Chandramukhi: Good. (Turns towards Gulgule) Kaha hai chauki ke Jay aur Beeru? Aaye kyo na abtak?
(As she finishes, Gopi and Billu show up, clearly late and nervous.)
Chandramukhi: Yo tem (time) ho raha chauki me aane ka?
Billu: Madam, raste mein Bhaiya Lappi Lootra ko Gol Gappe khilaane lag gaye. Phir bhi Pappi toh aaj bhi nahi mili! (Gopi makes a weird face)
Gopi: Well...
Hanuman: (Grinning) Kya baat hai, Gopi! Bas 'lage raho'!
(A young guy walks in, looking dejected and rubbing his face in frustration.)
