Scene: Imaan Chauki – Morning
(Gopi sits on a bench, reading the newspaper. Billu stands behind him, squinting over his shoulder. GG relaxes in his chair, sipping tea)
Gopi: Main kya Gulgule, kaafi time ho gaya teri biwi ke haath ke bhajiye khaaye hue. (smiling) Kab khila raha hai?
GG: Chal hatt! Tu toh us Lappi Lootra ki jali kati gaaliyaan kha aur khush reh!
Billu : Lappi Lootra ne bhi inse break up kar liya hai. Ab to bhaiya kahin ke nahi rahe (Gopi shoots him an angry look, while Billu glances down.)
(Hanuman walks into the chauki, chewing paan confidently. The three, shocked, quickly scramble to salute him.)
GG: (startled) Kya baat hai, sir? aap itni jaldi?!
Gopi: Haanjiji Daddyji, kyun aa gaye aap itni jaldi is the? Hasinaaein agar doodh peeti hain toh main hoon haldi is the!
Hanuman: (Grinning, flicks his wrist in dismissal) Arey, subah ka surprise mazedaar hota hai, samjhe? Thoda shock therapy bhi kabhi kabhi zaroori hai. (Winks)
(He casually sits on Chandramukhi's chair, putting his legs up on the desk. GG, Gopi & billu look surprised.)
GG: (Hesitant, nervous) Maaf karna, sir... woh... yeh toh Madam ki chair hai...
Hanuman: (Raising an eyebrow) Aur main tumhari Madam ka 'Sir' hoon, yaad hai? Madam ke chamche
Billu : (mutters to Gopi) Mujhe toh yeh ek number ka chor lagta hai!!!
(Gopi gives Billu a strange look)
(Hanuman notices Billu holding the newspaper, which he took from Gopi)
Hanuman: (Teasing) Arey Billu, kya yaar? Fesan (Fashion) magazines padhne ki umar mein tum paper padh rahe ho?
GG: (Curiously) Sir ek baal brahmchari ke moonh pe esi baat shobha nahi deti?
Hanuman : (nearly chokes on his paan sticking his tongue out comically) Chup karo, Gulgule! Main apni nahi, is bechare kunware Billu ki baat kar raha hoon!
(Chandramukhi walks in and sees Hanuman relaxing in her chair with his legs on the desk. GG, Gopi, and Billu salute her.)
Billu (Bhoola): (walks over to Chandramukhi) Aa gayi, kalmoonhi! Iss pocket-maar ke alawa aur koi nahi mila tujhe poori duniya mein? (gestures at Hanuman, who looks shocked)
Hanuman: (Hanuman sits up and moves his legs off the desk.) Tujhe kaise pata?
(Chandramukhi quickly grabs Billu by the ear.)
Billu: (nervously, wincing) Kuch hua tha kya?
(Hanuman sighs in relief, silently swallowing a lump in his throat.)
Hanuman: (Clears his throat, smiles casually, and grins.) Chautala sahab, aap late ho gayi hai aaj.
Gopi : (shocked seeing Hanunuman's audacity) : Oh my god!!! What reddish!!!
GG : (corrects Gopi) : Rubbish
Gopi : Yeah This one
Chandramukhi: (still holding Billu's ear, with a sharp glare) Tanne toh mein baad mein repair karti hoon. (turns to Hanuman)
Chandramukhi: Sir esa hai aaj tak ke itihaas mein yo kabhi bhi na hua ki Chandramukhi Chautala thane mein late ho jaaye.
Hanuman: (showing her his watch smugly) Lekin aaj ho gayi hai, Miss Chautala. Yeh dekhiye.
