"Sometimes, in the stillness of winter, the heart whispers its truths, buried beneath the weight of snow and silence."

It was another day wrapped in the warmth of that lovely memory.
The birds were chirping, students were engaged in conversations, and Taehyung, as usual, was napping on his desk. Suddenly, the sound of a chair being pulled out caught his attention, followed by a sweet, familiar scent-stronger than before. He peeked up and saw Jungkook holding flowers in his hand. The sight of him, with his doe eyes and bunny smile, looked almost unreal. Taehyung couldn't help but just stare, captivated by Jungkook's ethereal beauty.
It was as if, for a moment, the world outside their small classroom faded away, and all that mattered was this simple, enchanting image.
Jungkook smiled brightly, holding the delicate flowers in his hands. "These are yellow lilies and jasmine. My grandfather is growing them," he explained softly, his voice carrying the warmth of the memory. Taehyung, though, barely registered the words. His gaze was lost in the depth of Jungkook's doe eyes, mesmerized. His heart began to race, a thrum that grew louder as the seconds passed.
Jungkook tilted his head and asked sweetly, "You don't want them?" His voice broke through Taehyung's daze, bringing him back to the moment.
"What?" Taehyung blinked, realizing he hadn't been paying attention. Quickly, he grabbed the flowers and smiled, trying to mask his flustered state. "Oh! I want them," he said, patting Jungkook's head affectionately. "Thank you."
As his hand gently rested on Jungkook's hair, Jungkook's cheeks flushed pink, his heart fluttering wildly. But Taehyung wasn't immune to the moment either-he too was blushing, his heartbeat quickening.
From that simple, innocent exchange, their bond deepened. It was a subtle shift, but from that day on, they began to grow closer, one heartbeat at a time.
Taehyung, his head resting on the desk, clutched onto Jungkook's shirt lightly and smiled up at him. "Jungkook, let me copy your homework~" he said playfully. Jungkook chuckled softly, his eyes filled with warmth, as if it was a request he could never deny.
After class, Taehyung was once again at Jungkook's side, leaning his head comfortably on Jungkook's shoulder while the latter was engrossed in a book. Taehyung, ever the playful one, said with a grin, "I wanna read the books you read too~"
Their moments together always had a tender simplicity, a bond that seemed to grow stronger with each small interaction. Soon enough, Taehyung was dragging Jungkook by the hand, his voice filled with excitement, "Let's play basketball~" while Jungkook, cheeks flushed pink, simply followed, too flustered to say no.
"Koo~"
"Kookie~"
"Jungkookie~"
