A/N: Just a short little chapter.

Driving through the Alps was breathtaking, the sun was shining, the air was warm, and the men were yelling and signing. In the distance they could see mountains, they were covered in a thick layer of snow.

"So, you reckon they'll make us run up those or ski down 'em?" Talbert asked the group.

"Probably both."

They drove further into the countryside; on the hills were small houses with women gardening. They heard the trucks coming and turned to look, running as close as they could to the trucks when they realized who was in them. The men loved this; they were waving, hollering, and blowing kisses. Some of the men hand taken to leaning halfway out of the truck. Mariah had to hold the end of Talbert's jacket to keep him from jumping out.

The trucks came to a stop in front of a large hotel. "GO FIND YOUR ROOMS!" Nixon yelled.

Joe took Mariah by the hand and began running. "Joe slow down, you're gonna pull my arm out of it's socket."

"Sorry love, I just want us to get the best room."

"I think this whole place has the best rooms." Mariah said.

Joe drug Mariah to the top floor, stopping in front of a room with a double door. "I think this is it." Joe said, smiling.

"Well let's go in."

As they entered the room Mariah couldn't help but be amazed; the room was large with white walls, a double bed, and an en-suite bathroom. "Oh, this is very nice." Mariah smiled then ran full speed towards the bed, jumping on it.

"Come check out this view."

Mariah stood up and walked over to the window, the view was beautiful. Large trees covered the landscape, between those trees they could see a large lake, the sun was bouncing off of it, creating a glimmer effect. "We are definitely going swimming." Mariah said.

"Well, you did take that bathing suit."

Mariah chuckled. "Let's go take a look around."

Going down the staircase they found Malarkey, Luz, and Grant huddled together, whispering.

"What are you girls whispering about?" Mariah asked.

Malarkey and Luz shushed her. "There's a German Colonel talking to Winters."

"What?!" Joe and Mariah asked together.

"That's what I said when I found out. We're all talking about what could be happening."

"I hope Winters kills him." Grant mumbled.

"Alright Chuck calm down." Mariah said putting her hand on his shoulder.

The doors to the room opened, they all scattered. Mariah hid behind a pillar at the top of the stairs. She moved her head slightly to see what was happening. The Colonel and two other men walked out. A few minutes later Winters, Nixon, and Welsh followed.

"You can all come out now." Winters yelled.

"How did you know we were here." Mariah asked.

"All of you are not as quiet as you think you are."

"What did he want?" Luz asked.

"He was giving us a formal surrender."

"No way." Malarkey yelled.

"It's true." Welsh spoke.

"I guess it's time for another party."

"No Malarkey, no."

Mariah woke up to the sun shining directly into her face. She wanted the other side of the bed but Joe insisted she take that side; something about how he liked watching the sun cast across her in the morning.

She groaned and put a pillow over her face. Her moving made Joe stir. "Morning love."

"Morning." She grunted.

"You doing okay over there?"

Mariah lifted the pillow of her head and glared at him. "What do you think?"

"I should begin apologizing?"

"You're not as dumb as you look Joseph Liebgott."

He took the pillow from her hands and hit her with it. Mariah laughed and got out of bed. "Where are you going?"

"Since I'm not getting back to sleep, I'm going to go brush my teeth."

"After you're done that, we should go for a morning swim." Joe said.

"I'd like that."
