So, you know how my husband convinced me to go see Jazeel? I did go but I took him along with me. That's why they say, never underestimate anyone and I made the mistake of underestimating Jazeel.

For the first time ever, I sat across him unable to speak. I couldn't see him in the same light anymore, it was like I didn't know him.

But he acted the same, the way he usually is and that made it 10x weirder.
"She's still frightened?" He asks Hayaan.

My husband looks at me before turning to him "You did a number on her and it wasn't cool, she's pregnant".
He raises his hands "My bad, I didn't think it'd affect her this much, I guess she really does love you".

He rolls his eyes "I just brought her so you two can talk".
He shakes his head "Talk about what? I don't hold it against her anymore. Married or not she's the one who made these last two years comforting for me but when she came clean I couldn't help but get a little salty, it made me question our friendship".

"Believe me, I didn't intend to hurt you".
He shrugs "That doesn't matter now but no hard feelings, everything is in the past but I do need you to keep your promise".

I raise my eyebrows "Promise? Which promise?"
"The one you made Sana, I wouldn't want her to be disappointed".

Wait he was listening?
"How did you know?"
He smiles "It's my house Maya, you think I haven't been keeping an eye on my wife? I know every step she takes and sometimes I nudge her in the right direction".

"So you married her and kept everything going for revenge?"
He stands "No, I'd be lying if I said I did but I liked it. It's like a game, don't you think?" He sighs "She's greedy so maybe I am too".

"Greedy in what way?" I ask.
Hayaan was there but he was so engrossed with his phone he had no idea what we were talking about, I think he's probably just tired of the plotting and secrets, he did say earlier today that he's tired of being in the middle of it all.

"What was your plan exactly? When you made the promise and approached me?"
"I knew she'd agree but I also know that she doesn't like losing so she'll still try to keep her grasp on you. But if you knew then you wouldn't let her—that way you'll end all ties".

He smiles "I appreciate your honesty and I really do want you to know that—I really hold nothing against you. I've forgiven you and I hope we can friends again, we've both done some crazy things but we're even now".
I force a smile. It will take a while but who am I to judge, I put myself in this situation.

"Anyway, keep your promise, I'll handle everything else".

I nod.
That's all I'm doing and then I leave them to handle their issues.

Ersana.

I finally decided to end things with Jazeel tomorrow. I'm going to cook, make everything nice and break the news to him. It's not like it's easy on me too but the fact that it's Tariq—it's not something I have to think twice about. I'll always choose him.

I know, I'm obsessed with him but I'm not used to not getting what I want. When you're a pretty girl guys will always say yes to you, even when you're not their type—the thought of shutting down someone of your social stratum is not something they're capable of—especially if you make the first move, they're incapable of it.

I smile just thinking about it. Going after Amaya's men, it wasn't particularly easy but the moment you know the kind of person he is and handle him accordingly, everything becomes effortless.

I'll be honest with you, I thought she'd react since after the first one but she didn't and honestly, I really want to know why she didn't—she didn't react to Tariq because she never found out and she never found out because I never got what I wanted—if I did I would've slapped it all over her face.
