Errors story is soul breaking, Geno of Aftertale, then Reaper courted him. They could have been mates.

No, a certain tree needed another soul for there Positivity. Genos shard of a soul would work perfectly, and thus Geno became Dream.
Reaper takes offense at this years later when he finally meets Dream, too bad the tree in dead.
Dream just wonders why his soul seems to skip a beat when he met Reaper.
