Error does not sleep, nor does Error does eat.
His bones are slowing, and cannot keep up with Ink any longer.
Error is dying and he feels relief, and another needs to take his place.
Fate grabs a whole bunch of Sans for a death battle, the final one will be the new destroyer.
The battle begin once Error falls into the final sleep known as Death, with Reaper to gather his battered broken soul.
Reapers just glad he already has a fate as Death so can't be pulled into this crap.
