Sitting in my room, I could feel the tension building in my chest. I had just finished scrolling through some comments on my latest post, and it seemed like Star's fans were still buzzing about our recent encounter. Honestly, I was over it. If she wanted to play games, I was ready to serve it right back.

I grabbed my phone and opened Instagram, hitting the live button. The familiar thrill of going live washed over me as I flashed a bright smile at the camera. “What’s good, y’all? It’s your girl Treu, and I’m here to spill some tea!”

Almost instantly, notifications started popping up. Followers flooded in, and the chat exploded with excitement.

@mello_chi: “Let’s go, Treu! Spill it!”

@chicago_beats: “Get ‘em, girl!”

@fanofstar: “Y’all better not throw shade on Star!”

I rolled my eyes at the last comment. “Please, you guys know I’m just keeping it real. Star’s been acting wild, and I’m not about to let her get away with it.”

The comments kept pouring in, some supporting me, others tagging Star.

@sweetchicago: “Tagging Star, where you at?”

@starfan101: “@StarBandz, join this live and put Treu in her place!”

As if on cue, my screen lit up with a notification. I looked and saw Star had requested to join the live. My heart raced for a split second, then I sighed and rolled my eyes. “Here we go.”

I accepted the request, and there she was, looking effortlessly cool with a smirk plastered across her face.

“What’s good, Treu?” she greeted, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

“Oh, you know, just trying to keep my name out your mouth,” I shot back, crossing my arms. The chat exploded with reactions.

@coolgirlchicago: “This is about to be good!”

@starfan101: “Star’s gonna demolish her!”

Star leaned in closer to the camera, her eyes narrowing playfully. “My dog listens to me. Can you say the same?”

That hit a nerve. “Is that really your comeback? You’re so corny! You think that’s funny?” I shot back, feeling my frustration rise.

@realchicagomom: “Ooooh, shots fired!”

@teamtreu: “Get her, Treu!”

Star shrugged, a cocky grin on her face. “I think it’s cute how mad you get, honestly. You should take notes on how to be a real artist.”

“A real artist? Like you?” I countered, laughing mockingly. “Girl, please. You’re out here just trolling and acting like you run the game. Ain’t nobody scared of you.”

The comments started flying faster as the tension heated up.

@justanothertreu: “Stop hiding behind your fans, Star!”

@chicago_wild: “This is a mess, but I’m living for it!”

Star’s smile faltered for a second, then she leaned back and said, “You keep talking like you’re some big deal. Just remember, I can pull up on you whenever.”

That was it. I felt my blood boil, and I couldn’t take it anymore. “You wanna pull up? Go ahead! I’m right here, but you’ll be the one looking stupid.”

I could feel the adrenaline surging through my veins, but I realized this was a live show, and I didn’t want it to escalate any further. So, before I could say something I might regret, I cut off the live stream, my heart racing.

@fanofstar: “Wait, why did she leave?”

@mello_chi: “Oh snap, she got scared!”

I stared at my phone, processing everything that had just happened. I felt a mix of empowerment and frustration. I had stood my ground, but part of me wondered if I was just fueling the fire.

Mello burst into the room moments later, eyes wide. “Girl, that was insane! You really told her!”

“Yeah, but I’m just tired of it,” I admitted, running a hand through my hair. “I thought I could handle it, but she knows how to push my buttons.”

Mello plopped down on my bed, grinning. “You should’ve seen the comments! People are gonna be talking about this for days!”

“Right?” I laughed, feeling a little better. “But what happens when she pulls up? Am I really ready for that?”

Mello shrugged, but I could see she was just as hyped as I was. “You’ll handle it. You always do.”

But deep down, I knew it wasn’t just about the drama. There was something about Star that kept pulling me in, even when I wanted to push her away.

“Let’s just see where this goes,” I said, shaking my head with a smile. “I’m ready for whatever comes next.”
