When I walk into the changing room I can feel all the girls worried eyes on me and it makes my heart beat spike. I head to my cubby and start getting changed, which proves to be a struggle when doing it one handed. Alessia comes over to me, a warm smile on her face as she tries to hide the concern behind her eyes

"Hey are you okay?. What Jonas did was out of order" she tells me sincerely

"Thanks less, I'm okay but Pete thinks I've broken my wrist so I have to go to the hospital to get an x ray" I tell her, my voice slightly irritated but I manage to give her a smile

"I'll take you if you want, at least then you won't have to be alone" she asks sweetly knowing about my hatred for hospitals and I feel my heart warm at her kindness. But before I can answer Leah approaches, leaving  her conversation with Kim to join ours

"I'm taking her less, it's okay" she says gently, directing her words at the blonde girl standing next to me, leaving me very confused

Before Alessia walks away i thank her for offering and when she leaves the changing room I look at Leah, my face showing every bit of confusion I'm feeling. Why is she taking me to the hospital, i thought she couldn't stand being near me for more than a minute but she's actively choosing to be in a car with me, this is weird.

She gives me a tight lipped smile then walks to her bag, continuing to pack her clothes away. Leaving me with a lot of unanswered questions.

Im apprehensive to get in the car with her. What if it's a trap, but our previous conversation, the worry in her eyes when she looked at my wrist made me hope otherwise.

The ride to the hospital was silent, the only sound filling the car was the radio and the buzz of awkwardness that lingered between us. Neither of us really knew how to start a conversation, the two of us never really having one, so we chose to stay quiet, just appreciating the fact we weren't at each others throats

When the hospital comes into view I can feel my palms start to sweat, hospitals always made me anxious and now is no exception. As Leah  parks the car she glances at me curiously obliviously taking in my change in demeanor.

"Are you okay?" She asks, the tenderness in her voice startling me

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" i say letting out a shaky breath trying to ease the tension in my body, sending Leah a quick smile

When we walk in, I fill in the sheet the receptionist gave me then take a seat in the waiting room. The screaming kids don't do a lot to ease my nerves. I can feel leah glancing at me every now and then but I'm too focused on staying calm to speak.

I don't notice my leg bouncing up and down until Leah's hand softly stops its repetitive movements. I look at her, my nerves obviously plastered on my face and she grabs my hand, squeezing it reassuringly, the action immediately calming me down.

We stay in that position, Leah's fingers gently tracing my knuckles, slowing my heart beat down until my name is called.

At first I don't hear the doctor calling my name, Leah has to squeeze my hand a few times to get my attention and I finally stand up. What makes my heart race faster is the fact Leah hasn't let go of my hand yet.

The words of the middle aged man in front of me turn into white noise, my brain is focusing on everything and nothing all at once but the thing that keeps me from completely shutting down is Leah's hand in mine the entire time. I hear Leah's voice as she tries to explain what happened to my wrist as I'm not engaging at all, but her not being there to witness it makes the story she's telling sound very vague.

When I catch the eyes of the doctor who's name I missed, it causes my body to tense and my senses begin to start working again

"We need to go and get an x ray for your arm, is that okay?" He asks for what i presume isn't the first time
