Chapter IX : Familiar feeling

River .

He smiled at what I said and I blamed my blabber mouth , then ignoring it all I looked at the king's of the jungle . It's such a beautiful sight to see one animal that is strong and well composed in all mannerisms , the lions are wise , brave and most of all got good leadership in them they fear no one and are very protective of their kind , are very tricksters when it comes to searching and get what they want , I so love their possessiveness over their female and intelligence in ensuring their safety together with that if their cubs but that sounded very different from my lion who'd forget about me and our lost pup only to be indulged into adultery and sin before lord .

He threw away what we have in a blink of manipulation and fully fell for a woman he barely knows ,inshort we barely knew her .

Walking around and see how monkeys got playful with humans ,Bill followed behind quitely and slowly trying to keep a distance between us and I liked that ,that's what I wanted .

Roaming around to see the tufer and so many wild animals I felt joy in doing so until when my eyes landed on the woman who destroyed my marriage before me .

" Is it a coincidence or is it just fate " she pulled on the last world as I watched her keenly just as Bill stepped to my side and held my shoulder , this was his stance in making sure we win in a talk war .

Bella eyed his hand and I could see how her jaws ticked that made me smile a bit .

Good to know you feel the loss.

" Is it not fancy to see you two back together or rather very amusing " she pressed on and I sighed .

" It's way beyond that to  see you all alone just as you were " I replied scanning her from the hat she wore to the fake branded shoes and I knew that my out property played a great deal in her life ,she's now crawling into upholding she status she never had .

" Ooh am not alone ,and not certainly a both of you expected me to be ....

" Sure I thought you were pregnant guess a cheat is always a bitch " Bill cut her off immediately and that got out a reaction atleast as she fisted her palms tightly and her eyes bailed out as she shouted .

" You're both monsters ,murders ....I lost my baby because of you " she shouted .

" Should I remind you everytime you do that ,you get humiliated instead " I gritted my teeth at her and she swirled her head around to see the continuity attention from other people .

" Now just be a good girl and lay low ....you always were you know .....you still are " I added smiling to her as I walked past her allowing the hand of Bill to snake my waist and whispered in my ear .

" Am sorry honey I will make sure it won't happen again " and I let him excuse himself even when we both knew that he can't make sure it doesn't happen again and this is all because he let it happened again and again , he should've placed her to her place back then ....only then .

I didn't take a chance to answer his damn imaginations but rather walked towards my car and he stopped me .

" Can I drive you home ?? "

" What makes you think I would want to be home Bill .....am used to having us cross ways and it will surely happen again just as you let it back then ....so am not going home ,I want something smoothy and sweet "

He smiled at that as he opened the door for me and I climbed , in a hush he rushed to the driver's seat and drove without a word . On our way I played my favourate song that I knew he also liked .

Surprisingly he drove past our favorite restaurant and rove to the hills  .

" You don't intend to kidnapp me ,are you ??

He smiled at that pulling his lips in between teeth before releasing sigh .

" Hmmh ,there's a better place than that River I think you should try it "

" And since when have you become adventurous " I regretted asking that because it was obvious when he was with her .

" When I lost you ......

I gulped at that as I turned my head away from him to look at the green hills we were passing through .

" When I couldn't find you anywhere near me , when I couldn't see you with me ,when I realized it was all going yo be a history for me , I became adventurous trying to find you everywhere I think it was possible and when I came across this place I liked it because I felt you in it ,you were calm as this place and never a storm "

He ended as I looked at him as he struggled to not face me .

" Yes I like calm places " I called it a shot because he looked at me for a second with so many emotions swirling in his eyes and I wondered which overpowered which .

He spoke nothing but focused on the road and stepped on the road to make it a quick drive and the rest was silent until he pulled over .

" We're here "

I leaned forward to take this beautiful sight before me ,it wasn't a hotel but a well built and decorated restaurant , it spike volumes of peace and joy , calmness and sweetness .

With no thought I heard the door to my seat open and there he stood baring his hand for me to take and it reminded me of our old days , hesitantly I took his hand and slowly walked out of the car as he closed the door .

I breathed out the tired air and inhaled cool forest like mixed with mint on it ,it was just cool around here .

Walking with his guidance we got a place very private as he ordered and I went down to taste his theory of foods and it was just amazing .

With few words he would start a talk and make small jokes that made my day until when he drove me home .
