I felt Solasta showering my face with kisses. "It's time to wake up, sleepyhead."

"Hmm..." she softly chuckled because of my response.

"Come on, get up already. You can catch up on sleep later; you'll be late if you don't move now."

I slowly opened my eyes and turned my head at her.

She's wearing a navy blue blazer and wide-legged trousers, she exudes elegance. Her loose waves cascade gracefully down her shoulders, adding a touch of effortless style to her look.

Fuck, she's so beautiful.

"What the hell, Eris!"

I couldn't help but chuckle. There was something endearing about her attempt to act coy, especially considering the intimate moments we shared the previous night.

"What's the problem? You've seen way more than this just a few hours ago." I teased, a hint of amusement in my voice.

"Just go, and take a shower."

I wrapped my arms around her, embracing her from behind. I pressed my face into the crook of her neck, taking in the delightful fragrance of her rose perfume as she cooked.

"Good morning, love." I greeted.

She softly caresses my cheeks with her one hand. "Good morning too."

I began trailing soft kisses along her exposed neck. A low moan escaped her lips as I kissed her sensitive spot, her body arching into my touch. I could hardly believe it when she turned off the stove and spun around to face me, encircling her arms around my neck.

Our mouths find each other as if magnetically drawn together, our bodies moving as one as we begin to kiss. I can feel her soft lips against mine, her warm breath mingling with my own as our kiss deepens, growing more passionate with each passing moment.

We break the kiss and pull apart, both of us a bit breathless and flushed. We exchange a knowing glance, a small smile playing on our lips.

"We should probably get breakfast first," She suggested, her voice a little hoarse.

"And continue later?" I added and playfully smirked.

"Thank you." I smiled at her.

She smiled back and started eating too.

The meal she cooked was absolutely delicious, leaving me speechless with wonder at her unparalleled cooking abilities.

"Today is your competition, right?" She asked.

"Yes, it is."

"Well, I just wanted to tell you that I'm incredibly proud of you. You've worked hard, and I know you're going to do great today." She gently spoke.

My spirits were lifted, and I was filled with a delightful sense of happiness.

"Thank you so much, it means a lot to me especially coming from you." She genuinely smiled.

"By the way, sasabay ka ba sa amin papunta roon?" Tanong ko rito.

"I'm not sure yet since I have a meeting with Ms. Cooper first. Don't worry about it, though. I'll follow as soon as my meeting is finished"

"Sino bang tinatanaw mo riyan? Parang kanina ka pa mukhang may hinahanap."

I felt a slight touch on my right shoulder, and Gael appeared by my side. We are here in the backstage because we are the next performers.

I have been restless since we arrived here because I haven't seen Solasta yet, she also didn't come with us when we came here. I have called and texted her several times but she hasn't answered.

"Have you seen Professor Montivera?" I asked.

She narrowed her eyebrows and shook her head.

I checked my messages and she still hasn't replied to my text.

Me:

1:30 PM

Are you coming?
We're here already.
I'm nervous, even though we're not performing yet:(

3:15 PM

Love, are you okay?
I haven't seen you here yet.
I'm worried; please let me know you're okay.

4:45 PM

I'm waiting for you.
I love you.

I was about to try calling her again, but suddenly, Mr. Torres announced that it was our turn to perform.

I heard the host starting to introduce us.

"Prepare to be wowed by the electrifying dance performance of the Red Demons from Luxford University at the 2024 Universities Dance Competition! These fiery dancers are determined to reign supreme and destroy the competition with their raw talent and passion. Be ready to witness an unforgettable display of dance excellence as the Red Demons from Luxford University take the stage and showcase their untamed skills."

I take center stage, my eyes scanning the crowd before me. My heart pounds in my chest as I glance over at the other Red Demons lined up beside me. We exchange a knowing look—we're ready to give it our all. But, despite my determination, I can't help but feel a pang of worry about Solasta in the back of my mind.

I try to push it aside and focus on our performance, telling myself that I need to be fully present for the team.

As the music starts, my body moves instinctively, every step and swaying in sync with my fellow dancers. I let my body take over, letting my emotions and passion show through my dancing.

I exchange a quick look with Gael, signaling that it's time for our tumbling sequence. We sync our steps perfectly, and in unison, we launch into a series of flawless tumbling moves. The crowd gasps as we seamlessly transition from flips to twists, every move executed with precision and grace.

Despite the dizzying speed and height, I maintain my composure, channeling all my energy into each acrobatic leap and twist. The tumbling step becomes a breathtaking spectacle, leaving the audience in awe of our mastery and synchrony.

I feel a mixture of excitement and nerves as the final moments of our performance approach. We move in unison, our bodies and minds in perfect synchronization as we bring our routine to a close. The lights are blinding, the music is pulsating, and the energy from the audience is electric.

We take our final pose, chests heaving and muscles straining, knowing that we've given it our all. The applause and cheers from the audience fill the room, and we stand there, basking in the satisfaction of a performance well done.
