As Bella continued monitoring the surveillance, her eyes widened when she noticed a group of men preparing tear gas canisters inside the warehouse. They were setting up an ambush, clearly intending to smoke out Lucas and his team. Without hesitating, Bella grabbed her radio and urgently relayed the information.
“Lucas, Leo—get your masks on and exit the building immediately! They’re prepping tear gas near the west entrance.”
There was no time to waste. She quickly added, “There’s another group hiding outside the building, just beyond the loading dock, waiting to strike. You’ll need to move fast and take them down before they get the upper hand.”
Lucas’s voice came through the radio, sharp and decisive. “Copy that, Bella. Team, masks on and move out!”
She watched as Lucas and his team donned their gas masks and made their way toward the exit, moving quickly but carefully to avoid triggering the gas before they could get clear. Bella’s heart raced as she continued guiding them through the chaos.
“They’re waiting for you just outside, by the stack of crates on the left,” Bella informed them, watching as the team positioned themselves near the exit.
As soon as the team burst through the door, they spotted the men Bella had warned them about. The ambushers were caught off guard, their element of surprise ruined by Bella’s sharp eye and quick thinking. Lucas and his team swiftly neutralized the threat, disarming the men before they could react.
“We’re clear of the building,” Lucas reported, his voice steady despite the intensity of the situation. “Thanks for the heads-up, Bella. You saved us in there.”
Bella exhaled in relief but stayed focused. “Just doing my job. Stay safe, there might be more waiting.”
With the tear gas defused and the ambushers taken down, the team regrouped, preparing to push forward with the mission. Bella stayed glued to the monitors, ready to assist with whatever came next.
Bella's eyes flicked back to the surveillance monitors, and her breath caught when she spotted several vehicles approaching the warehouse. One of the cars stood out immediately—a sleek, black SUV. Her heart sank as she zoomed in, recognizing the face of Victor Reyes, the notorious crime lord they had been chasing.
She quickly grabbed her radio, her voice tense but controlled. “Lucas, Leo, you’ve got incoming. Victor Reyes is here. Vehicles approaching fast—three of them. Hide now!”
The urgency in her voice sent chills down the line. Lucas responded quickly, “Copy that. Team, fall back and find cover.”
The team immediately scrambled into hidden positions, ducking behind crates, walls, and whatever cover they could find near the perimeter of the building. Bella watched their movements through the cameras, her fingers clenched as she continued relaying critical information.
“They’re pulling up on the east side,” she whispered through the radio. “Stay low.”
As Victor’s convoy came to a stop, men armed with automatic weapons poured out, scanning the area as if sensing something was off. Victor stepped out last, his presence commanding and dangerous. He moved with the confidence of a man who believed he was untouchable.
Bella’s grip tightened on the radio. “He’s getting out. Stay hidden. Wait for my signal.”
The tension was thick, but Lucas and his team remained unseen, ready to strike when the time was right. Bella kept her eyes glued to the monitors, tracking every move Reyes and his men made, ready to call the shots to ensure Lucas and the others came out on top.
