Kiara & Sarah:meeting mommy for the first time

Context:Kiara had a daughter at 13. She said she wanted to keep her but her mom signed the form saying she didn't want to. So she ran away to go live with Sarah when she was 14. She's been living with her ever since. Now she's 18 living with Sarah (who's her girlfriend) and now gets to meet her daughter for the first time.

"Sar I'm scared what if she doesn't like me or want to live with me now." Kiara said. "Babe she's gonna like you. You've been sending her letters everyday since the day she was born." Sarah said. "I know but what if she doesn't like me or I'm not a good mom." Kiara said. "You're gonna be a great mom. Go get dressed and then we can go to the center." Sarah said. Kiara went to go take a shower while Sarah finished her hair. Sarah finished her hair and then she did her makeup. "Sarah are you ready to go?" Kiara asked. "Yea" Sarah said as she grabbed her purse. "I'm gonna drive since you're really worried." Sarah said. "I am not worried." Kiara said. "Yes you are now give me the keys." Sarah said. Kiara gave Sarah her keys and they both walked out to the car. Sarah drove to the center and they both got out of the car. Kiara went inside first and then Sarah followed her. "Hey Kiara Naomi is in that room over there she's been sick for the past day and a half." The women said. Kiara went over by Naomi and saw her curled up by the trash can. "Hi Naomi." Kiara said. "Hi are you my real mommy?" Naomi asked. "Yes I am. Are you ready to go home?" Kiara asked. "Yea but what if I throw upy?" Naomi said. "It's ok me and Sarah will clean it." Kiara said. "Who's Sarah Mommy?" Naomi said as she held her arms out for Kiara to pick her up. Kiara picked Naomi up and she immediately felt like her whole world had changed. "Sarah's my girlfriend she's really nice." Kiara said. "Does she like pink?" Naomi asked. "Yes she does." Kiara said. Kiara carried Naomi out into the waiting room where Sarah was. Kiara had put Naomi down for a moment and when Naomi's feet touched the ground she threw up. "Oh no I'm sorry I didn't mean to." Naomi said as she looked at the ground. "It's ok accidents happen why don't you go with Mommy and Sarah to clean yourself up." The woman said. Naomi went with Kiara and Sarah to the bathroom. "Mommy I didn't mean to throw up don't be mad." Naomi said as she started crying. "It's ok baby I'm not mad." Kiara said. Naomi just let Kiara wipe her mouth and then she just sat on the floor. "Are you tired baby?" Kiara said. "Yea and hot." Naomi said. Sarah took a paper towel with cold water on it and put it on Naomi's forehead. "Is that better?" Sarah said. "Yes ma'am." Naomi said. "You can call me Sarah Naomi." Sarah said. Naomi didn't say anything except she just looked at Kiara for approval. "You can call her Sarah or another name you want to call her." Kiara said. "Can I call her Mommy too?" Naomi asked. "Of course you can." Sarah said. "Yea are we gonna go home now?" Naomi asked. "Yea we just have to grab your stuff." Kiara said. Sarah picked Naomi up and she laid her head on her shoulder. "Mommy you smell good." Naomi whispered. "Thank you." Sarah said. Sarah carried Naomi out while Kiara grabbed her bag. "Mommy is my room pink?" Naomi asked. "Yea you have pink bedding and a pink teddy bear." Kiara said. Kiara opened the door and let Sarah out first. Sarah unlocked the car door and let Naomi buckle herself in. "Ready Naomi?" Kiara asked. "I'm ready Mommy." Naomi said. Kiara drove home while Sarah sat in the passenger seat. Naomi ended up falling asleep on the way back so Kiara carried her inside. "I'm gonna put her in her room and then go get some stuff for whatever sickness she has." Kiara said. "Ok I'll stay with her." Sarah said. Sarah gave Kiara a kiss and then Kiara gave Naomi over to her Sarah and then left.

Sarah placed Naomi in her bed and then she just sat next to her. Naomi woke up in a flash and leaned over to the right side of her bed and puked. "Oh honey let's get you to the bathroom." Sarah said as she picked Naomi up. "I'm sorry Mommy my stomach really hurts." Naomi said. "It's ok how about a nice bath to help your stomach." Sarah said as she placed Naomi in front of the toilet. "Ok will you stay with me while I take my bath?" Naomi asked. "Of course baby." Sarah said. "Sar I'm home." Kiara called. "Who's Sar?" Naomi said. "It's my nickname Mommy calls me." Sarah said. "Can I have a nickname?" Naomi asked. "Yea me and Mommy will give you one." Sarah said. Kiara walked upstairs and she saw Sarah and Naomi playing with the bubbles from her bath. "Mommy look I have bubble in my hair." Naomi said as she blew bubbles at Kiara. Kiara just laughed and she grabbed a towel for Naomi. "Alright time to get dressed." Kiara said. Kiara lifted Naomi up out of the tub and started drying her off. "Mommy I want a nickname." Naomi said. "How about Nay." Kiara said. "I like it." Naomi said. Naomi finished getting dressed then walked with Kiara and Sarah to her room. "Mommy can you guys stay with me while I sleep?" Naomi asked. "Yea we'll stay." Sarah said. Sarah and Kiara stayed in Naomi's room while she slept for a little bit. "So should we make her something to eat?" Kiara said. "I'll get her some water and little trash can you can stay here and lay with her if you want to." Sarah said. Sarah gave Kiara a kiss and then she went to go get Naomi some water and a little bucket. Kiara was scared to get into Naomi's bed since shes never actually laid or comforted her since she's be in her custody. Kiara just got into Naomi's bed and she felt a sign of relief. Naomi felt Kiara's body up against her so she climbed on top of Kiara and she laid her head down in between her chest. "Are you cold baby?" Kiara said. "No I just want you." Naomi said. "You only want me not Mommy?" Kiara said. "No I want Mommy too but right now I just want you and only you." Naomi said. "Aww you two look so cute." Sarah said as she walked back to into the room. "Mommy?" Naomi said. "Yea" Kiara said. "I love you" Naomi said. "I love you to Nay." Kiara said. Naomi just wrapped her legs around Kiara's upper body and then went back to sleep. "Kie do you want me to leave?" Sarah said. "No you can stay too." Kiara said. Sarah got into Naomi's bed and laid next to Kiara. "So when she's not sick should we take her shopping?" Sarah said. "We can take her shopping and then take her to see Wheezie. Kiara said. "That's fine with me."Sarah said. Sarah gave Kiara a kiss and then went on her phone.
