Outerbanks couple oneshots

Jiara:goodbye mom and dad

Context:Read to find out. I will say MENTIONS OF SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ARE IN THIS ONESHOT.

"Bella are you almost ready?" Kiara yelled. "Yea I was just taking a picture." Isabella said as she came downstairs. "You look so pretty." JJ said. "Thanks" Isabella said. "Have a good at school Bells." JJ said. Isabella walked out with Kiara and then they got into the car. Isabella and Kiara were jamming out to some music when they pulled up to Isabella's school. "Bye mom I love you." Isabella said. "I love you more." Kiara said. Isabella shut the door and then walked inside the school. Kiara drove home and just went on with her day.

Isabella and her friend Mya were in class when they heard the lockdown alert sound off. "Class this is not a drill." The teacher said as he turned off the lights. Other kids had started to barricade the door while Isabella and Mya texted their parents as the sound of gunshots rang through the hallways. "Open the door" A voice yelled. One kid was still barricading the door when the shooter shot his gun through the glass window. The kid who was barricading luckily stopped and went by the other students. Some of the kids started to climb out of the window while Isabella and Mya were just stuck shaking and crying in the corner. "Everyone out but these two." The shooter said. Some of the other kids didn't leave because they weren't leaving Isabella and Mya behind. Their teacher also didn't leave since it was his job to keep his students safe. The shooter shot the teacher in his chest. "Mr Carls" Isabella said. The shooter had reloaded his gun and he held it up in front of Isabella and Mya. "Any last words?" The shooter said. Isabella and Mya just held each other's hands waiting for the shooter to shoot them. When he shot his gun Isabella got shot first and then Mya. The police then came into the room and saw the girls who started to lose consciousness and Mr.Carls who had passed away right as they entered. The police arrested the shooter and the paramedics helped Isabella and Mya. "Tell my mom I love her." Isabella said as she started to flatline. The paramedics started to do CPR on both Isabella and Mya. Even when they were on the way to the hospital they were still doing CPR and nothing. Isabella and Mya were gone. When they told their parents the moms broke and the dads they broke too just not as bad as the moms.

When it came time for there funerals the moms read the last message they got from the girls. Kiara read "Mom he shot Mr.Carls and I think me and Mya are next. I just wanted to say I love you and dad so much. Goodbye Mom." Mya's mom read "Mama he's got a gun and me Bella are next. I love you so much and tell dad that I love him too. Goodbye Mama."

I just wanted to say rest in peace to the many lives lost during school shootings it's crazy to think and scary going to school thinking about that but to anyone who's survived one just know that you are strong and you can get through this.
