Outerbanks couple oneshots

Jarah & Jiara:Clingy

Context:Sarah,John B,Kiara,and JJ both have adopted daughters who are 10 years old. The daughters are both sick with the flu. But they're both being clingy to their moms. Anyways JJ and John B have to take care of them while Sarah and Kiara are at work. JJ and Kiara's daughter name is Skylar and Sarah and John Bs daughter name is Melanie.

"Dad when's mom coming home?" Melanie said. "She'll be home in a few hours Mel just go take a nap." John B said. "I can't sleep without Mom laying next to me." Melanie said. "Mel go take a nap your fever is still pretty high." John B said. "But I need Mom." Melanie said. "Melanie go to bed." John B yelled. Melanie ran upstairs and slammed her door. John B just went back to what he was doing while Melanie was in her room crying. Sarah had called Melanie during her lunch break and she was upset by the fact she couldn't be there for her but also by the fact how John B acted. "Mom when are you coming home?" Melanie said. "I'll be home by four just try and sleep till then or see if your dad will take you to Aunt Kies and Uncle JJs house so you can hang out with Sky." Sarah said. "But dad yelled at me." Melanie cried. "Melly he just wants you to get some sleep but I'll text him. I have to finish eating my lunch I love you." Sarah said. "I love you too." Melanie hiccuped. Melanie hung up the phone and went back to crying. "Mel come on we're going to Uncle JJs house." John B yelled. Melanie rolled out of bed and she walked downstairs. "Mel where are your shoes?" John B said. "I don't know." Melanie said. John B found some slides for Melanie and then they left. Once they got to JJ and Kiara's house Melanie and John B went inside. "Hey is Mel sick too?" JJ said. "Yea she's got a fever and she won't stop asking for Sarah but she told me to bring her here so she can see Sky." John B said. "Well she's lying down on the couch she has a fever and she's been asking for Kiara which is weird because she told her she wouldn't be home until around four." JJ said. "Dad when's Mom coming home?" Skylar said. "Around four like I told you earlier." JJ said. "But I need her." Skylar said. "Skylar what does she do that I can't." JJ said. "JJ we don't do the same things Kiara and Sarah do when they're sick." John B said. "What do you mean?" JJ said. "Mom makes us feel better you guys don't." Melanie said. "We do to" John B said. "No you don't you make us feel bad about being sick. And you always yell at us." Skylar said. "No we don't you two just act like babies whenever you're sick." JJ yelled. "Jackson James Maybank I know you did not just yell at our daughters." Kiara said as she walked in the door. "I didn't mean to it's just they're both acting like babies and they're ten years old so they should start acting like it." JJ said. "John Booker have you been yelling at them too." Sarah said. "A little bit." John B said. Sarah and Kiara went by the girls to see if their fevers had gone down. "Have you given them medicine at all today there fevers are higher then before. What the hell have you two been doing with them all day?" Kiara said. "Working" John B said. "I've been cleaning the kitchen." JJ said. "You two suck at taking care of your daughters when they're sick no wonder why they like when we take care of them." Sarah said. "Mom Melly threw up." Skylar said as she was holding back Melanie's hair. Sarah went over by Melanie and brought her to the bathroom. "Mom my stomach hurts." Melanie groaned. "I can tell do you want to stay in here or" Sarah said but cutoff by Melanie puking again. Skylar and Kiara had came into the bathroom and sat down. "Melly are you feeling funny too?" Skylar said. "No my stomach hurts how much medicine did your dad give you? Because you sound drunk." Melanie said as she leaned back into Sarah's body. "JJ how much medicine did you give Sky?" Kiara said. "I gave her the right portion for her size but I'm not sure why the whole bottle is gone." JJ said. "You dumbass I ask you to take care of Skylar while she's sick and now she's going through an overdose of cough medicine because you weren't paying attention how the hell are you a construction worker when you don't even pay attention to small things." Kiara said. "Kie I didn't know she would drink the whole bottle." JJ said. Kiara helped Skylar to her feet then grabbed her hand and gently pulled her to the car. "Where are you going?" JJ said. "To the hospital dipshit." Kiara said. Kiara shut the door and then drove to the hospital. "Melly come here." Sarah said. Melanie walked over by Sarah and John B. "What Mom I'm freezing." Melanie said. "Mel you're burning up JJ give me your thermometer." Sarah said. JJ gave Sarah the thermometer and she took Melanie's temperature. "103 come on we're going to the hospital too." Sarah said. Melanie just walked out with Sarah and they went to the hospital as well. "So I'm guessing we aren't allowed to take care of the girls when they're sick." John B said. "No shit." JJ said.
