Summer break

Summer break was almost over  and it was terrible , like always . We traveled  to the same  depressing place we visit every year because of my dad's work . I had to stay there for three days , even though i wanted nothing more than to avoid it . I hated that place with all my heart . It was dirty , small, and overcrowded with people - loud , obnoxious people who do nothing but talk and judge strangers .
It took us two eternal hours to get there . We stayed at the usual hotel where i met my childhood  friends , the same group I've seen every summer break. Most of them annoyed me - they were hypocrites , full of themselves and i couldn't stand their company . Except for Miles and Ian . They were the only ones  who seemed real, the nicest of a bunch .
After arriving at the hotel, we gathered and headed to the beach . The sand was filthier than last year . I lit up a joint, and we all smoked together. We smoked a lot.
Afterward, we went back to the hotel and watched Tim burton movies . I have an obsession with his films, they always get me in a strange comforting way .
The next day,  we met up for breakfast, but our  routine was the same- more joints , more smoking . Later that night , we decided to go clubbing .
At the club,  i drank too much : three whiskeys and a cup of vodka . Somewhere in the blur of drunkenness. I met this girl named Olivia . She was a dancer in the club .  She had long straight hair , small brown eyes  and delicate lips . I fell for her looks the moment i saw her .
At first i was too shy to approach her , but when she waved at me , i felt braver . We danced together, and i couldn't take my eyes off her .  She had the most beautiful body , slim with a tiny waist . She was the kind of woman  who makes you forget everything around you. That's what happened- i forgot my friends , the club , everything it was just me and her .
We spent the whole night dancing . When it ended we exchanged our socials , and when i left the club i was officially in love with her.
The next morning, i woke up excited, expecting to see a message from her . But to my surprise , she had blocked me . That hurt me badly .  I couldn't help but wonder why i always fall for women that shows me the slightest bit of attention.  Out of all the summer breaks , this one turned out to be the worst of them all.
