The press conference room was buzzing with energy. Nico sat alongside Pierre, Oscar, Alex, and Fernando, all eyes trained on them as the journalists fired questions. Nico had expected the usual queries about racing strategies, team dynamics, and weekend predictions. But he wasn't prepared for the barrage of personal questions that came his way.

"How's Kevin doing with the pregnancy?"

"Have you two thought about how this will affect your racing careers?"

"Are you planning on moving in together officially?"

The questions just kept coming, each one more invasive than the last. Nico clenched his jaw, trying to stay calm, but with every passing moment, his agitation grew. He'd always tried to keep his personal life private, and this was too much. Kevin was vulnerable right now, and he didn't want their relationship-or their baby-being dissected by the media like it was some sort of spectacle.

He answered each question as diplomatically as possible, his tone firm but polite. "Kevin's doing great. We're excited about the future," he said. But it was clear the reporters weren't satisfied. They pushed, asking for more intimate details, and Nico's patience began to fray.

And then, they turned to the other drivers, dragging them into the conversation. "Pierre, Oscar, you were just with Nico and Kevin earlier. What's your opinion on everything going on? How does the paddock feel about it?"

Nico tensed, fear flashing through him. What if they said something negative? What if the other drivers weren't as supportive as they'd seemed earlier? His mind raced, imagining all the ways this could spiral out of control.

But then Pierre, sitting just a seat away, leaned forward with a grin. "Honestly, it's pretty inspiring," Pierre said, his voice light but sincere. "Nico and Kevin are showing us all what it means to be a team, both on and off the track. They're handling things with a lot of grace, and it's been really cool to see them so open with the rest of us. They've definitely become role models in a way."

Oscar nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I think we've all learned a lot from them. It's not every day you get to see something like this up close, and I think it's made all of us appreciate what they're going through even more."

Nico blinked, surprised but deeply relieved. The warmth and support in their words were palpable. He hadn't expected this-hadn't realized just how much the other drivers had been paying attention, or how much they appreciated his and Kevin's openness.

Fernando spoke next, his tone serious but filled with admiration. "I've seen a lot of people go through pregnancy-family members, friends. And trust me, it's not easy. What Nico and Kevin are doing, balancing it all with their careers, it's really impressive. They're showing a lot of strength and commitment."

Even Alex chimed in, his smile gentle. "We're all behind them. They've got an incredible journey ahead, and we're just glad we can be there to support them through it."

Nico let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. The press had expected drama, but instead, they'd been met with nothing but admiration and support from his peers. It was a powerful moment, one that silenced the more invasive questions from the reporters.

When the conference finally wrapped up, Nico stood, feeling lighter than he had when he walked in. As he made his way out, Pierre clapped him on the back, giving him a knowing smile.

"See? We've got your back," Pierre said.

Nico smiled gratefully. "Thanks. I really appreciate that."

As he stepped out into the paddock, his thoughts immediately turned to Kevin. He couldn't wait to tell him what had happened, to share the support they'd received. This journey they were on-though difficult at times-was surrounded by more love than Nico had ever imagined.
