With the second match of the Duelist Kingdom tournament all but one Mai was only one turn away from winning thanks to her Mirror Wall trap card there was nothing Rayna could do at this point, but it was her turn now.
"Right... I draw and I set this monster face down and end my turn." Said Rayna.
"Sorry kid but that defense monster won't do you any good. For I activate my trap card Shadow of eyes it switches a monster or monsters into attack mode and did I forget all flip effects are not activated?" asked Mai.

"No, my monsters." Said Rayna. The monster she had set down was Labradorite Dragon which was set face down was now switched face up to attack position and with zero attack points it was over.
"Harpie Lady attack." Said Mai giving the order to attack and took out Rayna's dragon dropping her life points down to zero.
Mai's LP: 1,100
Rayna's LP: 600 – 2100 = 0
Winner: Mai Valentine.
"You duel welled kid." Said Mai giving her the thumbs up.
"Thank you Mai." Said Rayna before she left the dueling arena.
"The match is over, and Mai Valentine is the winner and will proceed to the next round of the tournament." Said Croquet.
The next match was between Bandit Keith in America and Joey Wheeler an up stat duelist who somehow against all odds got to the finals.
"Well guys looks like I'm up." Said Joey.
"Good luck out there." Said Tea
"He will need all the luck he can get." Said Demise
"Have faith in him." Said Nicolas arms folded lost in thought.
"The match between Bandit Keith and Joey Wheeler will begin shortly please show me your participation cards please." Said Croquet. Of course, Keith had his because he swiped it from Joey while he was sleeping. Joey was in a mess because he couldn't find his card.
"This is not good without the card Joey will be disqualified." Said Bakura
"I knew it." Said Ruin
"You thought the same huh?" asked Nicolas.
"Yes." Replied Ruin.
"Joey has five minutes to find his card, or he will forfeit the match." Said Croquet.
"If you all excuse me for a second." Said Nicolas.

After leaving the others I followed Joey back to his room while he searched the room for the prize card, but he only had five minutes.
