Chapter 1

Kael's Pov

As I finish taking a bath I walk towards my cabin and I wear my pajamas partnered by a t-shirt.

As I lowered my gaze in my bed I saw Kaius starring at me with his poker face. I manage myself and I glared at him.

I sat myself in the side of my bed. He stood up and he sat his self besides me.

I look at him and I uttered “what?” because he was just starring at me.

His eyes widened and he grinned his teeth.

“why you hired that girl?” he said and he pointed his one finger in his phone.

I quickly grab his phone and scroll it down, I saw her, the girl who's wearing a uniform and came in my office to apply for his grandfather needs.

I remembered how she defined herself, she looks like an angel, she wear her cute smile with her brightest eye.

“hey! dude I'm talking to you, wag mo naman akong pagmukhaing tanga dito kakasalita!” Kaius said to me and he snap his finger in front of my face.

I look at him. “what? may sinasabi ka ba?” tanong ko at hinilamos nya ng kanyang dalwang kamay ang kanyang mukha at nakatamusong tumingin sa akin.

“she's only a student, madami pang mas better sa kanya!” he said and I look at him without any expression in my face.

“yeah she's only a student but I know she can do her job right” I said and I look away.

“but she need to manage her time for her job and for her acads” Kaius said

“yeah but she needs this job Kaius!” sabi ko.

“c'mon Kael, maraming mas better sa kanya na kailangan din ng kwarta” Kaius said and at this time I glared at him.

“how could you say that? Who's better than her? Who's better than a girl who will do anything just for her grandfather, who's better than a girl who's willing to sacrifice her study just to have a job? Who?  Tell me who Kaius!!??” sabi ko na may medyo kadiinan.

“yeah I got it, but she's only a student!” he said in a frustration.

“just trust her in a million chance Kaius, do you trust me or not? Hindi ko naman sya kukunin if I don't see any potential in her” sabi ko pa sa kanya.

Tumingin sya sa akin.

“ok fine!” pagsuko nya.

Nilamon kami ng katahimikan, I lean my self in my bed and Kaius do the same.

“dinala mo ba lahat ng files and documents about her?” maya-maya'y tanong ko sa kanya.

“yeah, nakapatong sa bedside table mo” pagkasabi nya'ng iyan ay agad akong tumayo at pumunta sa bedside table ko.

Binuklat ko ang mga papel at inumpisahang mag suri.

Wow ah lalim non!

I saw her personal details.

“Mauri Naese Qui” I whispered to myself.

Her name is too unique.

“age 18” I whispered again.

Ohh 2 years gap!

Nagbuklat pa ako sa files and documents nya and I saw a picture.

A photo of her kissing the cheeks of an old man who's hugging her waist, I saw how her smile bright is, I saw how spark the eye of an old man is and I saw a little bit tears on his eyes.
