Kael's Pov

I was sleeping when someone knock the door. I check my phone and its already 9:48 in the evening.

“who's that?” I said while yawning.

“uhmm señorito, hinahanap po kayo ni señorito Kaius” Manang Fe said.

“where is he, Manang?” I ask her.

“nasa Sala po señorito”

“sige po pasabi pababa na'ko” I said and I stood up.

I fixed myself and I go down in the Sala.

Hindi pa ako nakakarating sa Sala ay rinig ko na kaagad si mom and dad na nagtatalo, tanaw ko din sila dito sa hagdanan.

I saw Kaius he's quiet while bowing his head.

“C'mon Katana, how could you arrange the marriage of your son without asking him?! How?!” dad shouted at my mom.

What? Arrange my marriage? Of course its me, babae ang kapatid ko kaya ako ang pinag-uusapan nila.

“Why? Is there's something wrong ha? Elton?!” mom shouted back at dad.

Why they're arguing?!!

“YEAH!!! VERY WRONG!!!! you're wrong Katana!!!” dad shouted and it takes a whole mansion.

“what's wrong Elton?! Ha?! I just settle your son to the best future for him!!!” mom shouted.

“what did you say? Best future for our son? Eh sa ginagawa mo na yan sinasakal at tinatali mo na ang ating anak!!!!” dad shouted.

Mom? Best future ba talaga yun?

“At Anong gusto mo Elton? Ha? Ang mapunta yang anak mo sa wala? Sa hindi nya kapantay? Sa mababang uri? Use your mind Elton!” mom shouted again.

“you said use my mind? then I will back it to you! Use your mind Katana! Puro ka pera! Money!! Money!!! Admit it! ayaw mong napipintasan ka! All you want is money! Mukha kang pe--” mom cut off what my dad saying.

“yeah Mukha akong pera, oh may sasabihin ka pa ba?” mom said.

“you only care about yourself Katana! Hindi mo man lang inisip ang mararamdaman ng anak natin sa ginagawa mo!!” dad shouted.

“ginagawa ko lang ang alam kong tama para sa anak natin Elton!” mom said.

“ewan ko sayo Katana kung ano ang nasa utak mo! Bahala ka sa buhay mo, bahala ka din pag lumayo ang loob ng anak mo sayo!!” dad shouted and he leave mom.

Dali-dali akong umakyat at pumasok sa kwarto ko, I change my clothes and I wear my hoodie.

Bumaba ako sa hagdan and I saw mom on the Sala. She stood up and she look at me with her smile.

She walks toward me and...

“hi Son!” she said but I just ignore her.

“lets go Kaius I don't want to stay here!” I said to Kaius.

“hey Son comeback here” mom shouted but I just ignore her once again.

Why my mom change? Ibang iba na sya sa dati.

My mom who will do anything and who will give to me whatever I want and my mom who will let me do what I want to do is now change.

Now all she wants is money, I don't want to marry tita Emelda's daughter.

I will not let them marry me to a girl who I don't love.

Kaius picked his car and I hop in the passenger seat. Kaius start the engine and drive his car.
