Michelle's pov:
Im currently with most of the girls from the team, and when we're all here, all of us spend our free time together and use it to catch up.Right now, they're all talking amongst themselves about their bodies and how they feel about them and what they're doing to make themselves happier.
However, I am really uncomfortable right now, I feel terrible about my own body, but I don't like to talk about it in detail much.
"I always feel so heavy." Richelle complains.
"Yeah, me too, I'm actually gonna start heading to the gym this week." Jaquie adds.
I'm quickly confused by jaquies' comment. I look her body up and down before saying this, "The gym? Jaquie what are you talking about you're skinny as fuck."
"What?" She questions.
"You really don't need the gym. What you need is to eat more." I suggest.
The girls pass each other looks before looking back at me.
"You can't say that, michelle." Kenzie says.
"Why not? It's just an opinion." I shrug.
There's a silence few a few moments as they continue to pass each other those looks, so whilst it's silent, I decide to look around for the one girl on the team who isn't here.
Summer.
But as I turn towards the office, I immediately notice her through the window. Laughing and talking with emily, to be honestly, they're around each other a lot latley.
I turn back to the girls, "I'll be right back." I tell them all.
I decide to take it upon myself to see what's going on in the office that's making these two laugh so much. Emily and myself haven't been on the best if terms lately. We've been arguing quite a lot and I don't trust what's going on here.
Mabye, I am overthinking it, but id rather know if I was being cheated on.
"Hey, emily can I talk to you really quick?" I ask.
I then glare at summer, "alone." I scoff.
"Summer, give us a minute." Emily smiles.
Summer then leaves the office, and emily and I are now alone, I know that emily and I haven't been on the best terms, but I'm ready to fix it.
"What did you want to see me for?" Emily asks.
"I uh, just need to talk to you about something." I say.
"Sure. What's up?" She asks me.
I decide to just get straight to the point. "Emily, what's going on with you and Summer?" I say softly.
"Michelle, if you've come here to argue with me.."she quickly stops me.
"I haven't come to argue. I just want the truth." I say.
It may seem unusual of me, but I genuinely do want to make things up with her. I've been feeling so alone and I just want my girlfriend back.
"Nothing is going on, michelle. I promise you, we're just friends." She tells me sounding pretty genuine.
"Okay..."
"Oh, and I'm sorry." I apologise to her.
"Yeah, me too." She replies.
I attempt to leave the office, but before I can leave, she stops me, "Are we okay now?"
I sigh, "Yeah, I guess so.."
"I love you..." she tells me.
"I love you too."
