Chloe's pov:
Helping scarlett through this right now is more stressful than I thought it would be. With no doctors or nurses around to help, I actually don't really know what I'm doing.

No matter what, I'm going to try my best, and I'm going to help her through it.

I know that she's feeling a lot worse than I am right now, her contractions are coming every five mintues and although I'm here for her, she's almost broken my bones by squeezing my hand so hard.

This is going to be a lot harder than I originally thought, I'm not a doctor, nor do I know that much about giving birth so I'm not exactly sure how to check that scarlett is dilated enough to have the baby.

But right now, my focus is only on scarlett and making sure that she's okay.

"Chloe, how long does this take?" She cries.

I sigh deeply, "scarlett, it could be hours." I tell her.

"What!?" She exclaims, whilst crying out in pain.

"It hurts so bad." She cries breathlessly.

"I know, I know, but you can do this." I tell her.

I believe in her, and even though she doesn't exactly know what she's doing, I believe that she can do it. I know that she can.

"Chloe, I can do this." She shakes her head.

"Yes, you can." I say.

"You're having this baby scarlett. I believe in you."

...

It's been a few hours, and scarletts pain is getting worse. I have to do something to help her. She's crying so much I can't just leave her like this.

"I'll be right back." I promise her.

I quickly get myself up from the floor, rubbing my sweaty palm against my clothes. She's been squeezing my hand for so long.

I rush up to the cabinets, rummaging through each one to try and find the painkillers that I brought back yesterday.

When I finally find them, I fill a small glass with water from the tap before taking them over to her. "Here. Take some of these." I say, whilst handing them to her.

Shortly after I give her the painkillers, she grabs my hand tightly and lets out a scream that echoes around the cabin. "Make it stop!" She tells me.

I get the feeling that it's finally time, so I take a quick look underneath the blanket that's covering her legs, where I finally see the head of the baby.

"Okay, scarlett, it's time. The baby's coming." I tell her.

"It's time for a big push, okay?"

She shakes her head, "I can't! I can't do it!"

I squeeze her hand a little, letting her know that I'm right here with her, "Yes you can. You're almost there." I try to reassure her.

"Come on, big push for me, okay?"

I watch as she closes her eyes, taking a huge breath in and gives one last big push before I hear the sound of crying.

I quickly take the baby, wrapping it in a towel, "its a girl..." I tell her.

She breaths heavily, a weak smile on her face, "c-can i-?"

I nod, gently handing her the baby and helping her to hold her the right way.

"Make sure you support her head." I tell her, moving her arm slightly.

I watch as she looks down at the baby with a smile on her face, "Sh - she's beautiful." She says, a shake in her voice.

"What are you gonna name her...?" I ask, smiling with her.

She looks up at me, an unsure look on her face, "i-i don't know.."

"Well, what's the first name that comes to your head?" I try to help her out a little.

There's a moment of silence. A look of thought crosses her face until she finally looks to me and says this.

"Ruby..."
