Chloe's pov:
I'm just on my way back from grabbing some more supplies for scarlett and the baby. I decided to take a slow walk back, I've never realised how beautiful it is out here.

Although I did promise that I wouldn't be long, so I can't go too slow.

Scarlett has been doing so well these past few days, learning how to take care of a baby, I'm honestly so proud of her.

She's always excited to learn new things, even though sometimes she does seem a little stressed by it, she's always so happy in the end.

I love teaching her new things, and I love seeing how happy she gets when she does something right. But learning how to take care of a baby is a big step.

Especially from what she's been through.

As I continue walking, I begin to recognise my path and realise that I'm getting close to the cabin, but I also start to hear something that worries me.

The sound of voices.

I look all around me, not seeing anything until I turn to my right and see Phillip and a few others in the distance.

Shit!

They found us!

I have to get back to scarlett.

...

"Scarlett?" I panic as I walk through the door.

She instantly looks confused, "what? Why do you look so worried?"

Breathlessly, I then say this, "Where's Ruby?"

"She's through there sleeping." She tells me calmly.

"I'm gonna get her. You have to hide scarlett. They're here." I let her know.

I see I look of panic cover her face, "w-what?"

"No, chloe, I can't go back there." She quickly becomes breathless.

"I'm gonna get you back out, I promise, I have to get the baby away before it's too late." I say.

"You're leaving me?" She asks.

"What am I supposed to do?" She begins to look sick with worry.

"Go hide. Now." I tell her. "In the bedroom."

...

Scarletts pov:
I listen as chloe rushes out of the door with Ruby. Knowing that he's going to find me and take me back there makes me feel sick.

I don't ever want to go back.

I'm currently hiding underneath one of the beds, hoping that they don't find me and that I can stay free.

Suddenly, I hear voices, and I feel my stomach drop. I cover my mouth, attempting not to make any noise like chloe told me.

I listen to the sound of multiple voices and footsteps moving around.

"Where is she!?" I hear his voice.

"You said she'd be here!" He speaks to somebody else.

I know exactly who he's talking to.

Michelle...

She was the only person who could of known about this, I saw her lurking around outside my room when chloe and I were talking the other day.

"I'm sure she's here somewhere." I then hear the sound of Michelle's voice.

I begin to panic more and more, praying that they won't find me as I hear the footsteps get closer to me.

Suddenly, I find myself catching eye contact with michelle as she lifts the cover that's hanging over the bed.

She places her finger over her lips, not saying a word to me or anybody else that's here.

"Mabye, we got the wrong place." She suggests.

A feeling of relief rushes over me as she says this, but that doesn't last long.

"Did you check under the beds?"

Oh no..

I hear footsteps start to approach me once more, and before I know it, he's there... in front of me.

"There you are." He grins, "I've been so worried about you." He tells me.

"Come on, come out of there." He says, grabbing onto my arm.

I find myself letting out a scream so loud that it begins to echo, I quickly start to cry as he pulls me from underneath  the bed.

"No! No!"

"No!"

"Stop!" I scream, shoving him away from me.

"Stop it!"

"Scarlett, that's enough!" He raises his voice, making my body jolt slightly.

There's a silence in the room, other than the sound of my tears before he says this, "michelle, you can go."

He waits for her to leave before grabbing onto my arm once more. "Don't touch me!" I quickly retaliate.

"Scarlett, come on now! This is ridiculous!" He raises his voice once more.

I then fall to the floor, my back sliding Don the counter as I do so, but nothing happens. I just sob for a while.

"I won't go back." I sniffle.

"Scarlett." Phillp says, crouching down in front of me.

I jump slightly as he places his hand on my knee, "scarlett, that's enough of this now."

"No more tears."

"You're a lot safer with us than you are out here." He tries to convince me.

I don't belive it.

I shake my head, tears dripping down my face.

"I won't go back."

"I won't!"
