As the days rolled into weeks, Savi and Rajat settled into a new rhythm. The air was charged with the anticipation of their upcoming exams, but within the whirlwind of preparation, they discovered a deeper connection—a commitment to being each other's biggest supporters while fiercely pursuing their dreams.
One rainy afternoon, Savi found herself nestled in a corner of their favorite café, surrounded by stacks of IAS prep books. The pitter-patter of raindrops against the window was soothing, but her mind was racing. She tapped her pen against the pages, trying to focus, but the distraction of Rajat's encouraging smile lingered in her thoughts.
Suddenly, she felt a presence beside her. Looking up, she was greeted by Rajat, his damp hair sticking to his forehead and a mischievous grin on his face.
"Thought I'd find you here," he said, shaking off his umbrella. "You looked like you could use a study break."
Savi's heart fluttered at the sight of him. "I didn't expect to see you so soon. How was your class?"
"It was fine, but I'd much rather be here with you." He leaned closer, resting his chin on his hand as he studied her. "You look like you need some motivation. How about I take you out for a little distraction?"
Savi chuckled, a warm blush creeping onto her cheeks. "And what do you have in mind, Mr. Distraction?"
"Let's make a pact," he proposed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "We promise to help each other stay focused but also prioritize some time to unwind. It's all about balance, right?"
"I like that idea," she replied, her enthusiasm bubbling over. "But you know I can't go too long without studying. I have to be ready for the IAS exams."
Rajat nodded, his expression turning serious. "And I'll help you every step of the way. I'll be your biggest supporter, just like you're mine."
With a playful smile, Savi leaned closer, their faces inches apart. "You really mean that?"
"Absolutely," he replied softly, his gaze steady. "You inspire me, Savi. I want to see you succeed."
Her breath caught in her throat at the sincerity in his eyes. It was moments like these—filled with raw emotion—that made her realize how deeply she cared for him.
"Okay, but if we're going to make this work, we need a proper study schedule." Savi pulled out her planner, excitement buzzing between them.
"Fine, but only if we schedule in time for ice cream afterward. I refuse to study without a reward," Rajat teased, winking at her.
She laughed, unable to resist the charm in his voice. "Deal!"
As they settled into their study session, Rajat took the lead, quizzing Savi on various topics. Each time she struggled, he leaned in closer, his breath warm against her ear, igniting a spark that made her heart race.
"Come on, you can do this," he whispered, his voice low and encouraging. "Think about how hard you've worked. You're going to ace this."
With each passing moment, their connection deepened, and Savi found herself leaning into his support. She felt alive, invigorated by his presence and the passion that radiated between them.
As the evening wore on, the café began to empty, leaving just a few patrons behind. Rajat reached over and brushed his fingers against hers, sending a jolt of electricity through her.
"Hey," he said softly, breaking the comfortable silence, "I wanted to talk about something."
"Sure, what's up?" Savi looked up, curiosity swirling in her chest.
