You write in your journal of all of the adventures you've gone on with him. You write them to remember. You're remembering to not forget. You've traveling all throughout space, landing on many different planets, meeting many different beings.

You write down your memories of fighting Daleks and Cybermen. Weeping Angels and Oods. You write down your memories of everything, from the first day you met him to this very moment. You know you can't stay with him forever, but you're going to remember.

"What are you doing, [Y/N]?" The Doctor questions as he walks up behind you, startling you.

"Nothing," you reply, shutting your journal as you turn around. Curiosity and disbelief smothers his face, yet quickly disappears.

"I see," he replies before turning and walking away. You sigh as you open your journal and continue writing, your memories and feelings flowing on to the page.

"I'm sorry," the whisper comes from behind you. You freeze, the pencil in your hand falling to the ground.

"For what?" You reply, dread in your voice.

"We must separate," he replies, sighing. You nod before standing, grabbing your stuff before exiting the TARDIS.

"Goodbye Doctor," you whisper, deciding it would be easier to just leave than arguing with him. There would be less heartbreak this way.

Tears fill your eyes as you walk back home, your journal clutched to your chest. It doesn't take long until you are home and sitting on the couch, the tears finally falling. You pull out a pencil and write down what had just happened, filling in every detail. Soon, you fall asleep.

"I'm so so sorry, [Y/N]," the Doctor whispers as he enters the living room. You stir in your sleep but don't awake. He takes your journal off of the table and puts it in his coat pocket before sighing.

When you awake you don't remember a single thing about him.
