So, earlier today (12:00 pm, March 22, 2016), I arrived in Paris. As I was on the train, I heard about the bombings in Brussels. I was honestly shocked considering it's not too far away. As I arrived in the station, we were standing around waiting for the rest of the group. Then, we were being evacuated. It turns out that there were bomb threats as I was in the station. I was so terrified!! But, luckily everyone got out and nothing exploded.
All in all, my heart goes out to those who have experienced the bombings today. I hope everything turns out alright 💜🇧🇪
