~~~~~~~~~~When you were the age of 19, a mysterious man came into your life and took you away with him in a big blue box.
When you were the age of 21, he took you back in time to see your mother one last time. She was killed in the same kind of fiery way that killed your half brothers mother, Mary.
When you were the age of 23, he took you back in time to see your father, before he was sucked into the world of war.
Now, you're the age of 26. All of these years you've been traveling the world with The Doctor. He's a time lord, meaning that he can travel through all of time and space. He's done many things for you, which you've returned in favor.
Though you saw both of your parents a few years ago, you haven't seen your brothers since before you left on the dark and cold winter night. You've asked The Doctor many times to take you to see them, but he would always say that he could not. For reasons that you do not know. The last thing you heard about them was that they were in the family business, and that they were struggling in a war.
All of these years, you thought that the family business was just going into the army. Just fighting against different countries in attempt at world peace.
But, that thought was soon put down.
"Doctor?" You call out. You were both in America, him having never been there in all of his life seeing as there weren't any major problems to deal with. London was his main focus for some odd reason. It was where you were born after all though.
John Winchester had visited London for an unknown reason, which resulted in him meeting your mother. You could remember the stories your mother had told you about how they met.
"[Y/N], stay in the TARDIS," The Doctor answers your call for him, appearing out of nowhere before walking through the doors and into the outside world. You ignore his command and follow him outside, worry and curiosity taking over.
A bullet whizzes past your head, lodging itself in the blue wood of the TARDIS. You scream, jumping back in fear.
"I told you to stay inside!" The Doctor yells, facing you quickly.
"[Y/N]?" A different voice calls. You freeze, recognizing the voice even after all these years.
"Sam?" You question, turning to see a tall man with shaggy brown hair staring at you.
"I need you to step away from that man and come over to me," Sam commands, motioning you to walk over to him.
"Why?" You wonder, looking back and forth between The Doctor and your brother.
"He's not safe," Dean answers you. You look over at him, your [E/C] eyes meeting his intense green ones for a split second.
"I've been with him for most of my life Dean. How is he not safe? He's saved me from so many monsters. You couldn't possibly understand him," you defend, stepping closer to The Doctor, essentially stepping farther away from your brothers.
"He's an alien [Y/N]. He's not like us, which makes him dangerous. Please, just come over here and get away from that thing," Sam replies, stepping closer to you slightly, his gun raised and pointed at The Doctor.
"The Doctor is not a thing," you hiss, crossing your arms and stepping protectively in front of The Doctor. "And I know what he is. Just because he's different, doesn't mean that's bad."
"Please, just listen to us and come here," Sam practically begs, his voice becoming strained.
"Stop Sammy. He's obviously brain washed her or something. It's not use," Dean steps forward, placing his hand on Sam's shoulder.
"I would never do such a thing to your sister. She is my companion and my friend. I wouldn't hurt her no matter what. And it's because of me that she's alive. I saw what her future held if she didn't come with me. She would've died if she went with you two into the family business. She would've been killed by the same thing that killed your mother. That killed her mother," The Doctor growls, obviously getting angry. He steps in front of you, growing more protective of you.
"What?" You question, suddenly confused. "I thought mom died of a fire. What do you mean by thing?"
"[Y/N]," Dean warns, trying to get you to forget the subject.
"No Dean. I deserve to know," you shoot back, not taking your eyes off of The Doctor.
"Your mother was killed by a thing of the supernatural. It was a demon," The Doctor answers, his head hanging low. "I never told you because that was the only way for me to protect you."
"I was going to get hurt in the long run. No matter what, something was going to happen. Why would you do that?" You question, then think back to something earlier in the conversation. "Why would you save me when I'm bound to die anyway? Why let me meet new people and get attached when they're all going to die anyway? You just brought more pain in."
The Doctor stares at you, uncertain of what to say or how to react. You stand there, arms crossed and tears forming in your eyes. He had lied to you all of this time. All of this time you could've been working on getting revenge for you mother. Instead, you were running around the universe thinking that she was at peace.
"I'm done," you finally whisper. Tears stream down your face as you look up at The Doctor. "I'm done running away from reality with you."
"Please," he begins, but you cut him off by raising your hand.
"Come on [Y/N]," Sam whispers, walking over and grabbing your hand. You pull away quickly, glaring at him.
"I'm not going with you either. I'm done with this fucked up world. I'm going home," you answer, stepping away and into the TARDIS. You set coordinates back to your home before stepping at of the blue box, whispering your goodbye to your second home. You send it back to The Doctor before waking into your apartment, ready to start with a new life.
