As evening approaches, his meeting wraps up, and he drop her home safely. During the meeting, she formed a strong connection with Aman, whom Neil sent to check on her after her not being comfortable there though peak at it limit and he can't focus on meeting with that thoughts.

*Brief flashback*

She stands in front of the glass wall, capturing the outside scenery on his phone. It's hard for her to believe that he give his phone and entrusted her with it. After a moment, she returns to her seat beyond the glass.

While she scrolls through the snaps, she is startled by a voice from behind, "Hello, I’m Aman Sharma, the assistant to your future husband."

She turns to him, and he takes a seat across from her, she murmured "He is not my future husband, and what brings you here?" She tone little harsh.

Aman responds, "He sent me, but are you really not going to marry him?" His tone is a blend of confusion and amusement.

She casually retorts, "No, that’s not decided," her voice flat and tinged with frustration, clearly signaling her disinterest in the topic. She resumes her focus on her means his phone.

Understanding her discomfort with topic of him, Aman sweetly inquires, "Aren't you going to introduce yourself?"

She meets his gaze and replies, "I'm Aayesha Sharma."

His face lights up with excitement, "Wow, what a lovely coincidence! We share the same last name—Sharma, Sharma, family!"

His face lights up with delight, "What a wonderful coincidence that we share the same last name! You Sharma, me Sharma, the Sharma family!"

She frowns, annoyance flickering across her features at his playful banter. He chuckles lightly, "I’m just kidding."

Their conversation flows effortlessly, evolving into a friendly exchange where they share light-hearted jabs about Wahan.

*Flashback Ends*

Aman is genuinely a nice guy.

As she steps into her house, she finds her parents in a heated argument. She quietly hides herself outside the door, listening as her father warns her mother, "If she refuses him, I will take actions far worse than you can imagine," his voice dripping with menace.

A single tear rolled down her cheek. Until that moment, she had felt happiness with him, but as she returned home, memories of her reality flooded back. She pondered why life seemed to want her to dwell in sadness, gently wiping away the lone tear.

Taking a deep breath, she composed herself, attempting to smile a few times before calling out, "Mom," and stepping inside moments later. She chose to act as if she hadn’t noticed anything amiss.

Her parents see her as she entered, both smiling and remaining quiet. She walked over them and asked to her father, "Why are you here, Dad? I told you I’d let you know in a couple of days." With low and gentle tone.

Her father began, "I’m just—" but she interrupted, saying, "Since you’re here, I want to tell you something." She looked at her parents intently.

Her father took a deep breath before asking, "What is it?" His voice laced with fear, thinking that she is going to refuse him.

She look her mother then her father and with a sigh, she declaration which made his eyes widen in surprise: "I’m going to marry him." Her mother looked at her in shock, while her father beamed with excitement and hugged her tightly.

She didn’t return the embrace, slowly stepping out of his hold. "I told you my decision, so please don’t come here unless it’s necessary."

Her father was taken aback by her words but accepted them with a smile, knowing deep down that he everything is his fault, and blame himself. He quietly left the room without saying anything further.

"Aayesha, you can’t treat yourself this way," her mother said, her voice heavy with sadness. Aayesha brushed it off, replying, "Mom, I don’t want to talk about it." left to her room.

As they shared dinner, her mother asked about her day with him. Aayesha noticed her mother’s concern, sensing that she might not fully trust him due to her lack of knowledge about his true nature.

Yet, he had always cared for her. He had instructed Aman to ensure she ate her meals, while he often neglected his own.

After speaking with her mother, she returned to her room, feeling a sense of unease wash over her. To shake it off, she decided to take a long, hot shower, followed by her nighttime routine, before finally settling into bed.

It's past midnight

She was still awake, sitting on bed with a serious expression, she stared at the glowing screen of her phone, her mind caught in a tug-of-war between two thoughts:

1. Go for it.

2. Don't go for it.

Ultimately, she realized that the second option wasn’t really an option at all. With a determination, she grasped her phone, dialed his number, but he didn’t answer. Frowning at the screen, she thought, "Is he truly ignoring my call? How dare he?"

After a moment, she called him again, her frustration bubbling over. "If he doesn’t answer this time, I’ll change my location," she thought defiantly.

One ring, no answer.

Two rings, still nothing.

On the third ring, he finally picked up.

Before he could utter a word, she declared with unwavering resolve, "I am going to marry you."  Silence filled the line, and panic set in as she quickly checked to make sure she had indeed called him.

The call was connected, but there was only silence. She hung up, and as she did, she heard him mutter, "What the—" in disbelief, mirroring her own earlier sentiments.

A smirk crossed her face as she thought, "Now he knows what it feels like to be left hanging."

And with that, she felt a sense of satisfaction in her small act of revenge.

She is uncertain about whether saying yes to him is the right choice. If she isn't prepared for marriage, her father will surely find a way to push her into it, and the thought of him hurting her mother is something she cannot bear. However, there is a glimmer of hope in this situation; he has promised her that he will divorce her eventually. During that time, she plans to devise a strategy that no one, not her mother nor him, will be aware of what happened with her.
