I don't know if moving to Japan was the worse or best thing to happen to me.

Yes, I have to be the strong and smart to survive the Borderland, but on the bright side I don't have many responsibility, Im alone most of the time and I can do what ever the hell I want.

I was walking through Shibuya Crossing, only to see there was a game near by, I contemplate going. I have seven days left on my visa, and I've been trying to build it up. I sprained my ankle a month ago and didn't have enough days on my Visa to let it properly heal so it took longer to do so. Now I want to keep as many days on my visa as possible, just incase I get injured again.

With a sigh, I follow the sign to the game. When I arrive I look at the colorful building for a while, then walk in. I follow the glowing arrow on the wall and walk down a hall with a red elevator at the end.

There are already 5 people waiting for the game. I walk in and all eyes go to me, I dont blame them, a short girl with funny eyes wearing black head to toe while wearing a mask? I would be curious myself. I grab a phone and pull my mask down for the facial recognition.

I turn to see everyone still staring and pull my mask back up over my nose.

The phone rings and the announcer speaks up.

"Registration is now closed. The game will now commence."

"Game?" The youngest girl asks.

"Game: Dead or Alive. Difficulty 3 of clubs." I sigh at that hoping for more than three days added to my Visa.

"Three of clubs?" One of the guys ask." What does that mean?"

"Rules, Select the correct door within the stipulated time frame. Clear condition, Leave the building within the time limit." The elevator dings as it opens. I look around at the others and follow the older woman in. The others soon follow giving me a wide berth.

"The time limit for this room is 2 minutes." The announcer speaks as the elevator opens.

The boys leave first since they are closest and us girls follow out.

"What is this?" The tallest guy ask.

I look around the small room to see if there was any hints, but no there was nothing but the two doors, Alive and Death, each door with its own poster.

"Alive or Died." The older woman speaks.

"Is this really a game?" The shortest man asks with excitement in his voice." I think this is really getting exciting." He speaks and I roll my eyes as he records." Im sure these must be doors to an art gallery." He speaks and I shake my head. The other two guys walk up to the door.

"I want to go... home." The young girl says.

The man recording turns around, "It'll be fine. Your with us." he says and I roll my eyes and walk past him to the doors as he continues talking to the girl. I hear him mention a prize and chuckle making everyone turn to me, I shake my head. The only prize we win at the end of this is more days to live.

"One minute remaining." the phone chimes.

"Arisu." The tallest guy calls out to the shaggy haired one." Which door do you think it is?"

Arisu chuckles.

"Dead or alive..." I tune them out as I think, this game is a 3 of Clubs, and Clubs are team based games, so we'll have to work together.

"Do you guys smell something." The guy recording asks and I pull down my mask to sniff the air. I cover my nose back up with my mask as smoke enters the room through the floor.
