Day and Brick had been chatting in the room for quite a while when they heard a knock at the door. Brick got up to open it, and as soon as the door was ajar, a little girl rushed in to hug him tightly, making Brick quickly brace himself for the impact.

"Uncle Brick!" came the bright voice of Ingfa. Brick smiled widely and squatted down in front of the little girl.

"What's up, my beautiful girl? Just finished school, right?" Brick asked in return, to which Ingfa nodded with a smile. Brick then looked up to see Bank standing there.

"Sorry for interrupting, P'. Ingfa was throwing a tantrum and wanted to come see you. P’Belle said it was okay," Bank said.

"It's no problem. Where are you headed next?" Brick asked.

"I'm just going to check on the shop for a bit. I'll come back with P'Phai. Can you keep an eye on Ingfa for me? My dad and mom are out," Bank asked politely, knowing that his daughter was eager to see both Day and Brick.

"Sure, sure! You can go get some of Ingfa's clothes to keep here too, so she can change and take a bath here," Brick readily agreed.

"Ingfa be a good girl, okay? Dad will be back with P’Phai," Bank said to his daughter.

"Okay," Ingfa replied before Bank excused himself to go get his daughter's clothes from home. Once Ingfa walked into the room, she immediately jumped onto the bed to find Day. Day opened his arms to welcome his niece, and Ingfa dove into his embrace, giggling.

"You look so cute in your school uniform!" Day complimented.

"Ingfa is now in Grade 1," the little girl stated proudly.

"Do you like school?" Day continued to ask, while Brick lay down beside Day on the bed, watching the two converse.

"I do! Ingfa has lots of friends!" Ingfa exclaimed excitedly, and both Brick and Day listened attentively.

"But Ingfa doesn't like dinosaurs at all. They like to pinch my cheeks," the little girl said while pouting, which made Day and Brick raise their eyebrows.

"Are the dinosaurs boys or girls?" Brick asked curiously.

"Boy friends," Ingfa replied. Brick felt his eyebrow twitch slightly.

"I guess I’ll have to find a chance to pick Ingfa up from school sometime. I really want to see the little brats who pinches my niece's cheeks," Brick stated. Day smirked slightly.

"Are you protective of your niece?" Day asked.

"Yes! Our niece has such delicate cheeks. How can she let someone pinch the beautiful cheeks of ours?" Brick protested playfully.

"Hmm, I think we should sign Ingfa up for judo. That way, she'll be able to defend herself if anything happens," Day suggested, causing Brick to chuckle.

"Seriously? You're heavier than I am. Are we going to send Ingfa to judo to deal with kids who pinch her cheeks?" Brick laughed. Day then turned to Ingfa.

"Would you like to learn judo?" Day asked.

"What’s judo?" Ingfa asked curiously. Day proceeded to explain and even showed her a video. The little girl’s eyes widened, and she nodded.

"I want to learn it! If someone bothers me, I'll throw them like this!" Ingfa said eagerly, mimicking the moves from the video, making Day and Brick laugh softly. They reminded her that while judo is for self-defense, she shouldn't use it to bully others but only to protect herself and those she loves. Ingfa nodded in understanding.

Woof!

The sound of Cotton barking called Ingfa’s attention as she had been focused solely on the two uncles since entering the room and hadn’t paid any attention to him. Ingfa smiled widely and went down to play with Cotton, while Day invited her to come play in the living room.
