The next day, Day was going to inspect the construction of his auto repair shop branch in Kanchanaburi. He didn't take Brick and Salmon with him because he didn't want them to be in the sun for long or wait around for him.

"We'll be at home. If we get bored, I might just take Salmon to the salon on the motorcycle," Brick told Day as he walked him to his car.

"Be careful with the motorcycle when you take him to the salon. Make sure you put a helmet on him," Day reminded him, worried.

"I know, I won't drive fast," Brick replied with a smile. Day leaned in and kissed Brick softly before pulling away. Brick pursed his lips, feeling a little embarrassed even though they'd done that many times before. Day chuckled softly, got in his car, and drove off. Brick closed the gate and was walking back to the house when he saw Salmon standing there laughing.

"What's up, Salmon?" Brick asked his nephew.

"Hehehe, Uncle Day kissed Uncle Brick! I saw it," Salmon teased his uncle, causing Brick's cheeks to flush.

"You were spying on adults, huh? Come here and let me give you a good hug," Brick pretended to be angry, trying to cover up his embarrassment. Salmon immediately ran into the house, giggling. Cotton followed him, thinking he was playing with itself.

Day arrived at the construction site and met the chief engineer who was overseeing the project. Day had hired an engineer because he wanted the construction to be done properly and safely, even though it wasn't a large building project.

"Hello, Khun Day," the middle-aged engineer greeted Day as soon as he saw him get out of his car.

"Hello, Khun Run. Are you overseeing the construction yourself today?" Day greeted him.

"Yes, I'm just checking the structure," Run replied before taking Day on a tour of the construction site, explaining the different aspects. Day also looked at the blueprints he had discussed with the architect. Day spent until noon at the construction site, then invited Run to have lunch with him at a nearby restaurant.

Ring...ring...ring

Day's phone rang. He looked at it and saw it was Brick.

"Excuse me," Day said to Run while waiting for their food. Runt nodded, and Day answered the call.

"What's up?" Day asked.

("Day, I'm going to take Salmon to the salon. P'Belle called and invited us to have papaya salad.") Brick replied.

"Okay, be careful on the motorcycle," Day emphasised.

("Roger that.  Did you eat yet?") Brick asked.

"I'm at a restaurant with Khun Run, the engineer who's looking after the construction of our shop." Day informed him.

("Oh, alright. I won't bother you then.") Brick replied. He had met Run before. Day responded, then hung up.

"Oh, P'Run!" A girl's voice called out before approaching Runt, who was sitting across from Day. Day glanced at them briefly and saw two women.

"Wait, didn't you say you were going to a younger classmate's ordination ceremony?" Run questioned.

"I did, but I just came back and was looking for something to eat.  By the way, who are you with?" the girl asked Run. When she turned her head and saw Day, her face flushed with awkwardness.

"Uh, this is Khun Day, the owner of the shop where I'm overseeing the construction.  Sorry, Khun Day, this is Rung, my younger sister," Run introduced them, feeling a little embarrassed and apologetic to Day.
