Day decided to take Brick back to Bangkok first, but he wasn't completely at ease until Uncle Chan would periodically send news. If anything seemed suspicious, Thien would also keep an eye out. This made Day feel somewhat relieved.

The two arrived back in Bangkok in the afternoon. Day headed straight home first because he had to bring Cotton back because Ingfa went on a trip with Bank's parents. So, Brick was able to take Cotton back with him.

"Woof woof!" Cotton's energetic voice sounded immediately as they got out of the car before running with its tail wagging over to Night, who was standing outside the house.

"I missed you so much, Cotton," Night said, bending down to hug and fondle the dog, which jumped at him, letting out joyful yips.

"Get away Cotton! He's my wife! Whoa, whoa, don’t do that!" Gear playfully pushed Cotton away, but the dog just leapt at Gear without biting, more like it was nudging him to get him to move away. Brick and Night burst out laughing.

"Serves you right," Brick replied before letting Cotton play with Night and Gear while he helped Day unload things from the car to put away in the room.

"How’s everything going?" Gear asked when everyone had gathered in the living room, with Night sitting on the floor with Cotton. Day then shared the situation with them.

"I agree with Brick. If this can be settled, we should just build a fence around it," Night said, and everyone nodded in agreement.

"You two are working at the shop tomorrow, right?" Gear asked.

"Yeah, I’ve left dad in charge of the shop for several days now, but I’m going to take Brick to see the doctor first," Day replied. Gear and Night both knew well what the doctor visit was about.

"Then how about we go out for dinner tonight?" Night suggested, noticing that it had been a while since they had shared a meal together.

"Call Neil and Nick to come along too. Oh, how about we go to Nan’s restaurant at the racetrack? Day," Brick said upon remembering, considering it a way to support his friend for helping them out in Kanchanaburi.

"Yeah, I’ll call Nan to reserve a table then," Day responded, knowing that Nan’s restaurant was quite popular.

"I’ll call myself," Brick replied before making the call to Nan. Once settled, he called Neil and Nick, both of whom agreed to go, arranging to leave the house at 6:00 PM. In the meantime, they all relaxed. Day went upstairs to rest in his room, while Brick stayed to hang out with Night and Cotton.

.......

As it got close to the time to leave for Nan's restaurant, everyone took showers and changed clothes. Neil and Nick drove over to wait in front of the house, ready to go together in one car, with Gear behind the wheel. Cotton had to stay home, so Brick let it stay inside with the fan on. Cotton wasn’t a very hyperactive dog and could comfortably stay alone at home.

After a while, Day’s group arrived at Nan's restaurant, which he had partnered with Keith and Ohm, Nan's friends. As soon as the car stopped, Brick spotted Keith standing there smoking a cigarette, with bodyguards stationed not far away.

"What are you doing here trying to charm the ladies, Keith?" Brick teased as he got out of the car, noticing a few young female customers approaching the restaurant, casting sweet looks at Keith. Keith smirked slightly. Brick and Keith were close friends and spoke comfortably, just as Brick did with Nan.

"Are you falling for me, then?" Keith replied with a smile.

"Day, have you heard that!" Brick pretended to threaten back. Keith raised both hands in mock surrender while Day shook his head in exasperation. He wasn’t bothered by Keith teasing Brick since he knew well what kind of person Keith was.
