After walking around and taking pictures for a while, they decided to head back. Day took Brick to buy some drinks to quench their thirst.

"Your face is really red. Are you okay?" Day asked, now becoming the one holding a portable fan to cool down Brick, who was flushed from walking under the sun on the railway.

"I’m fine, but it’s really hot," Brick replied, and once he got his drink, he gulped it down. Day turned to look at Nan and Mac and saw that Mac looked no different from Brick, seeming even a bit worse off.

"You’ve been back in Thailand for several months now, and you still can’t get used to the weather here?" Nan asked his lover with a smile.

"But it’s too hot! Is the sun even the same one?" Mac replied, causing Brick to chuckle.

"You think the same as I do," Brick responded. After a quick break to drink water, they all headed back to enjoy the air conditioning in the car.

"I really worry about you getting sick, Mac, going from the heat to the cold in the car," Nan complained lightly because Mac refused to wear a hat.

"I’m not that weak," Mac replied. Day glanced at Brick and noticed that his face was still flushed.

"Let’s stop for a meal first. Once we get home, you should take a shower and rest, Brick," Day suggested, concerned. Brick nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, Day's phone rang. Brick picked it up and raised an eyebrow slightly.

"It’s the number of Uncle Chan’s nephew. I bet he’s calling about that," Brick said.

"Answer it and put it on speaker," Day replied. Brick answered the call right away.

("Hello, P'Day, this is Ice.") The other person spoke first.

"Hmm, what’s up?" Day replied.

("I’m calling to inform you about the Chief's son. Tonight, he's going to a place called... He made plans with some friends.") Ice said. Upon hearing the name of the place, Brick was taken aback. He didn’t expect the other party to be going to Phai’s place, but the other party probably didn’t know it was Day’s friend’s restaurant.

"Do you know who they’re going with?" Day asked further.

("He said he would pick up another friend from the neighbouring village.") Ice replied, based on information he had gathered.

"Do you know what route they’ll take?" Day asked, and Ice shared the usual route with him.

"Thanks, Ice. Please tell Uncle Chan not to go out tonight. Stay at home, no matter what. It’s best to make it look like he’s not going anywhere," Day stressed, wanting to eliminate Uncle Chan and his friends as suspects in case the adults connected it to Uncle Chan due to past issues. Ice agreed before hanging up.

"Once we finish eating, I’ll drop you and Mac off at home first, okay, Brick? Then I’ll take Nan and the three of his guys to scout the route," Day said.

"Day, just be careful," Day said with concern. Day nodded in acknowledgment. Day took everyone to eat at a restaurant and then dropped Brick and Mac off at home so they could rest. He, Nan, and the three of Nan's subordinates then hopped into Day’s car to scout the route they would take when they went out to the city tonight, as they weren’t familiar with it, and Day would not be joining them.

"Most of the road is through the forest; there are quite a few secluded areas, Hia," Nan commented satisfactorily as Day showed them the route. Nan’s people were also memorizing the path.

"There aren’t many security cameras; from what I see, there’s only one at the intersection, but it’s uncertain about the houses," Nan's people mentioned.
