Calliope, Octavia, Finn, Clarke, and Monty run through the woods trying to get away from whatever killed her best friend. Cal stops as the others run in front of her and looks back wanting to help him. She was about to run back, but Octavia grabbed her hand and pulled her with her so she couldn't go back. Monty trips and falls in front of them and Octavia and Cal run to him first, making sure he's okay. "Monty." Octavia says as he stares at the bones he fell right in front of.
"Come on." Clarke says.
"We got to go." Finn says, helping him up along with Cal and Octavia.
"Monty, get up." Octavia says, struggling to get him up.
Once Monty gets up, everyone notices the bones, oddly shaped. They don't even look human. Did the radiation affect people that much? Cal thinks. Will we look like that?
"Who are they?" Finn asks as Clarke bends down to inspect them.
Clarke picks a skull up. "What are they?" Everyone looks at the skull in her hands. It's not a human skull. Cal doesn't even know what it is.
"We are so screwed." Octavia says, breathing out. Cal looks behind them as she hears her friends scream off in the distance.
"Jasper." Clarke says. "He's alive." Cal runs first to go save her best friend and Clarke must follow behind because Finn yells for her to come back while Octavia yells for her. Cal makes it to where they left her friend but Finn pulls her back along with Clarke. She looks to where they left him, but he's not there.
"Where'd he go?" Cal asks. "We left him right there."
"He was right there." Finn says, noticing he's gone as well.
"No." Monty says, worry filling his voice. "Where is he?"
"They took him." Clarke replies. Someone drags the boy through the grass as he's passed out, not able to defend himself.
"No," Cal says. "We have to save him."
Abby walks through the hallway that workers are fixing up and in the doors where the vital signs are shown. "Talk to me, Jackson."
"Rumors are spreading." Jackson says to her. "Witnesses saw a drop ship launch." They stop in front of the boards and Abby stares at her daughters. "It's only a matter of time before the people figure out that we sent the 100 to the ground."
"Let the council worry about the people." Abby says, turning her head to him. "I need you to focus on reestablishing communication with those kids." She turns back to the board. "How many dark tiles?"
"23." Jackson replies. "We've been losing them at a steady rate all day. Abby, these are different. Vital signs spike for a longer duration before flat line; it looks like a pain response." He turns to the woman. "This is what we'd expect to see with exposure to radiation."
