They had ended up at the dropship, their home that will always be. Bellamy had left twenty minutes ago and now Cal and Octavia are sitting in the dropship with Lincoln tied up, trying to get to them.

He's tied up just like how he was when they took him and tortured him for information, except this time, Cal's all the way on the other side of the room watching him and wishing he was back to himself. The one who let Cal sit beside him while he was tied up. The one who didn't let Miller fall on her after knocking him out after being a dick. She wishes she could get her brother back, not whoever or whatever this is.

The hatch opened after an hour of silence between the two girls and Clarke walked up with a med kit. Lincoln growled at the two leaders coming up the ladder and Clarke looks at him, terrified. "It's okay. It's okay." Bellamy says, calming her down. "He's been restrained."

"I can't believe we're back here again." Clarke says, shocked at the tied-up man.

"Can you help him?" Octavia asks, still sitting on the ground beside Cal.

"I don't know." Clarke tries to step closer but stops when Lincoln tries attacking her. "I knew Mount Weather controlled the Reapers." Lincoln growls at them. "I had no idea they were creating them."

"If they can do that to Lincoln," Bellamy says, gesturing to the tied-up Grounder. "What are they doing to our friends?"

"Nothing good." Cal replies, peeking her head around the corner to see Lincoln. He looks over to her and growls, trying to get out of his restraints. Cal puts her head back behind the wall so he can't see her and closes her eyes, taking a deep breath in and out.

This is her brother. Elias's uncle. He would never be something like this. Whatever they did, they erased his memories, everything that makes him, him. Elias doesn't need to see him like this, not ever. This is much worse than seeing someone die and she should know.

The rings on her necklace, over half of them are from dead people, ghosts in the wind. Cal doesn't think he can be saved if he doesn't even recognize her and Octavia. He might not ever be himself again and Cal just might be okay with killing him. As long as he's not this.

A while later, they're all standing up, standing in front of Lincoln, watching him growl and try to get out of his restraints. Cal stands beside Octavia and behind Clarke and Bellamy, not wanting to get too close. He's unpredictable, she has no idea what he'd do to her if she got close.

Last time he was tied up, she would sit beside him and whisper things to him, making him laugh. Things about Bellamy, Miller, basically anyone who was being a dick. Even when Lincoln knocked Miller out, he didn't let the boy fall on her in fear of hurting her. He loves her. There's no way this is Lincoln. Not her brother, her best friend. This is someone or something else and he's too unpredictable.

Lincoln suddenly stops growling at them and starts shaking. Cal's worry shows on her face as she steps closer and up to Clarke. "What happened?" She asks her sister.

"He's convulsing." Clarke answers.

"So, what does it mean?" Octavia asks, holding a flashlight to her boyfriend.

Clarke shakes her head and looks him over, landing on his leg. "What happened to his leg?" Blood comes out of it from the bullet that Octavia inflicted on him.

"I shot him." Octavia answers as Clarke turns around to look at her. Cal still looks over her best friend just in case something happens.

"Clarke," Bellamy says. "He's lost a lot of blood." Clarke turns back around and takes a step towards the Grounder, but before she could take another, he growls at her, trying to get to her.
