21st October : Lumenaria : 12:00 midnight

Sophie climbed the final steps. This was it. The moment she had been waiting for. She stopped in her tracks. What if she made bad choices? Or worse, what if her own people hate her?

"Hey. You ok?" Alvar's crisp accented voice said from somewhere in front of her.

"Yeah." She needed to read his mind. Needed to. So she did. Without permission.

Alvar Vacker's mind was dark and bleak. His mental barriers held strong unknowingly. She pushed her consciousness deeper into his mind and found these words.

Sophies' doing well in her job to become our puppet. And when she becomes Queen, that is my chance. I will show the Vacker's their true legacy. Biana will go forward and be the true heir. No one will doubt Vacker women again!!!

"That's all you care about!" Sophie screamed as she exited his mind. Fintan and Ruy had joined Alvar. "Why did you read my mind?" asked Alvar, calmly.

"Forget about it. I don't want to do this." She turned back to see Glimmer.

"Actually hon. Your going to stay. And your going to become queen. Otherwise, Keefie boy- is gonna get hurt."

22nd October : Lumenaria : 12:15 a.m.

Keefe walked to the ballroom where the ceremony was going to take place. All of his friends followed him through the packed hall. "Sophie get's stage fright. How is she going to say a speech in front of all these people?" Fitz asked.

"Oh, so now your the expert on Sophie, Mr. I refuse to meet her?" Biana retorted.

Fitz bit his lip. He was saved by having to answer by Vespera and Glimmer appearing on the stage. "Thank you all for coming. We have had a change of plans." The windows were blocked by the clattering and scattering of big metal grails, locking almost half the elvin population inside the congested hall. Keefe wanted to combust with everything around him. But, what could he do? They were all in maximum security lock-down.

"Everyone will stay right here. And as for Queen Sophie Elizabeth Foster." Ruy came out from the red curtains, holding Sophie by the hands. They had hand-cuffed her wrists and put a cloth to her face to prevent her from screaming for help. They had even put Dex's ability restrictor on her head. "You really shouldn't keep such amazing devices lying around in flames." Lady Gisela said, appearing from the curtains.

"We can easily get our hands on them." She cackled an evil laugh. It was over.
