3rd November : The strange forest : 10:00 a.m.
Keefe lay on the ground, eyes closed. Suddenly, he twitched. "Finally," a girl's voice came from somewhere above him. Relief engulfed his body. He wasn't alone. He reluctantly opened his eyes. "Biana!"
"Yes, who did you think it was?" Biana shook his shoulder with so much vigor, he thought it would fall off! He sat up, gawking at vivid teal eyes. "Fitz, that's creepy." Keefe grumbled. He stood, remembering the events of the previous night. Marella grabbed his hand and her expression turned staid. "Sophie's gone."
Keefe leapt back, flabbergasted. "WHAT!!!!????" He reviewed the events. She had gotten up a couple of times. Did the Neverseen snatch her? Well, if they did, they're gonna get a huge dubbing from me. Oh! Who am I kidding, I'll get a huge dubbing from them.
Fitz grabbed Keefe's arm. "Keefe, if we're going to get out of here, we have to find the way to the Lost Cities." He kept a hold on his muscle until he agreed. "Good. Tam thought one of us could levitate up and find the way out. It should be you."
"What? Why?" The surprises just didn't end.
"Because you have the highest concentration level," Maruca told him. "And you can spot anything," Marella added. Keefe groaned. "Fine." He channeled his energy to the ground. THUD, THUD, THUD. He could hear his heart beating.
What if I can't save, Sophie? His emotions gyrated inside his stomach. No! He can do this!
Then, he was above the clouds. No way! Sophie's back at the castle? They're holding the crowning! Oh! Way out, right? Uhmm. Through the cave again! Ok, desolate cave, here we come!
Same day : Everglen : 11:00 a.m.
Sophie walked through the gates of Everglen, ignorantly. She didn't care why she was there or what she was doing there. She just knew she had to be there. She knocked on the door so lustily, there was a yelp heard inside.
"Who is it?" Della called.
"To-be-queen Sophie Foster." From when did Sophie start using such formal language? Huh, she must've changed. I'm glad she's back. She must've gotten Fitz with her! Della thought.
Della hastily rushed towards the door and yanked it open. "Fitz!?" She stopped in her tracks when she saw the ropes and dagger Sophie was holding. Della did the only thing she could do : She howled as loud as she could for help.
"Della, love. No need to-" He stopped mid-way.
"See what I was talking about," She turned to face him.
"Sophie! Don't-" Then everything went obscure.
Same day : Havenfield : Same time
Edaline reverted back to Havenfield, dragging Grady along with her. Though her husband was kind and handsome, he didn't have any good tastes. He bought a plain shirt with a tiger logo on it. He bought a plaid zebra pant. Edaline let him buy those two, but she did the rest of the shopping. Atlantis was a busy place. Apparently, something big was happening at the castle.
They were attending it.
Sophie might be there. They may be able to help her. May be. She sighed. "Come on, love. Let's get inside." Grady nudged her slightly and pulled her inside the house.
As soon as the door closed behind them, the couple heard a soft knock. Edaline groaned. "What now?" While Grady went upstairs, Edaline opened the door.
"Aah. Alvar, how may I help you?"
Edaline had never liked the aggressive Vacker. Especially after Sophie and the Black Swan had told them the news. Seeing Alden and Della's faces...
"Please, listen to me, Lady Ruewen-"
"Please, call me Edaline."
"Edaline. Sophie's in trouble."
Same day : Lumenaria : 12:00 noon
Sophie, you can do this. Just take deep breaths. Deep... breaths...
Sophie was wearing a blood red gown, with a golden design. The bodice was rimmed with scarlet. It was difficult to walk in. Heels. Her ultimate enemy. But, this is what she was meant to be. Meant. To. Be.
The red curtains opened. There she saw all her kingdom of elves sitting on seats looking...
What, no. They must look happy and proud. Why do they look so sombre? Are they scared?
No, this is what she was meant to be. Lady Gisela and everyone else would take care of her. She just had to take the crown.
"Come Sophie. Take the crown. Become queen of the Lost Cities." Lady Gisela ushered her to the velvet case where the gold piece of scrap was sitting. The leader of the Neverseen slowly lifted it onto her head when the cry that changed everything was heard.
"STOP!!!"
